Citra hops add a touch of kick to the flavor, but there's nothing too far above average here. That said, it's crisp, refreshing, and a bit less bland than many craft pilsners I've had.

On tap at Al’s. Pours a clear straw gold with a sudsy white head. Plenty of foamy lacing. The aroma smells of tight bitter citrus, with more herbal and tropical flavors coming in off the sides. The taste has a crisp grassy bitterness with softer herbal tones on the edges, a tight bready backbone and then sweeter tropical fruit character that comes out across the back. Finish is dry and bitter. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a clean, crisp and overall very drinkable feel. This was tasty Pils, with those Citra hops giving this a juicy character that thankfully never got overly sweet. This was crisp and drinkable all the way.

Can release on July 1st. Thoroughly enjoyable, and considerably better than the old reviews are stating. Maybe made some improvements with this batch? Citra shines through the crackery malt profile. Crisp and clean with some slight bitterness from the citra, this is a fantastic summer beer.
