12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A- CLoudy dirty brown color
S- Faint sweetness, I assume is supposed to be cherry
T- Very weak (if any) cherry flavor, like a severely water down juice
M- Very little carbonation, feels like a soda that went flat
D- Fortanetly, I got this with a mix and match. One was more than enough.

Beer 2 in the six beer sampler served at the Shipwrecked restuarant. Poured into a small plastic cup (argh!).

Beer is a medium amber color, but still very light. Slightly draker than the blonde ale served here.

A fruity cherry nose in the smell, as you'd expect.

Taste is watery, hints of malt, bundled with the cherry taste. Some tartness coming through. The cherry taste is ok - it doesn't quite feel natural, but its not offensive either.

Closes like water - the cherry taste is kept in check, and this is a moderately drinkable offering.

Poured into the Sam Adams glass, this beer had a deep golden body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Aroma is that of cherry cough drops or suckers. Mouthfeel was light bodied with a fake cherry flavor and a bit of tartness and an ever so tiny malt flavor in the finish. This really doesn't taste like beer at all. If I was drinking this blind folded, I would think it was cherry soda. A good idea, but poorly executed.

A- Clear gold with a slight reddish hue.

S- Hints of cherry with a light estery profile.

T- Sweet, simple malts with light hints of cherry.

M- Smooth, lightly carbonated.

D- Not bad, but not good either.

Being from Door County, which is renouned for having great cherries, I really expected more. While there's nothing offensive, there's nothing great here either.

I enjoyed this beer out of a little plastic cup as part of the sampler at the brewpub and out of a pint glass. Therefore, this won't be the best review and is mainly for my own recollection.

Appearance: Deep coppor color/ Very little head. Don't believe the bartender knew why the head was important.

Smell: Nothing out of the ordinary. Hint of cherries.

Taste: Taste of cherries, but not good.

Mouthfeel: smooth but not much else.

Drinkability: Would not order again.

Sampled in the sun in a plastic cup in the patio area of the brewpub. Pour is of a deep copper color. Cherry juice is the major component of the nose, not offensive. The flavor is slightly offensive, a underlying skunkiness is not hidden by the subtle cherry flavor. The finish and aftertaste are non existent, the beer goes away as quick as you drink it. Not so good on this tasting

Copper in appearance with a white head. Aroma consists of, not surprisingly, cherries and wheat. Mouthfeel is creamy and medium-bodied. Taste pretty much follows suit with the aroma-- wheat and tart Door County cherries. The cherries render a slighty sour finish. It can be a pretty refreshing fruit beer on a hot summer day.
