I had this on-tap at Max's. It was called Bogedal 136, but I did some research and found out that it is a version of this beer. Poured into a sample glass.

Appearance: Pours almost black with some reddish brown at the edges when the light hits it. There is a ring of off white head.

Smell: Malt and some mild roast with a dark fruit sweetness. I can definitely pick up orange peel and a mild tartness.

Taste: Sweet roast is the first thing I notice. Some caramel mixed in with the roast, also some dark fruit. This is a mildly sour orange peel and spice finish.

Mouthfeel: The body is just on the thick side of medium with tingly carbonation and a dry finish.

Overall: I enjoyed this. The orange and roast flavors went together well. Definitely unique, and I think I would have another.

Ordered a bottle of this at the Speakeasy a while ago. The beer poured out as a dark ruby red color with some shades of brown in it. The head was fluffy and tan colored. The smell of the beer was yeasty and floral with some spicy cinnamon and orange on the nose. The taste of a beer was well spiced and had a warming cirtus to it. The mouthfeel wasn't too bad either. Not overly heavy at all. Very drinkavle brew. Overall I found it to be very good and I would like to try the other from Bøgedal.

Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a dark murky brown color ale with a nice size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet barley mat with hints of toffee and some spices. Taste is also a nice mix between some spices with notes sweet barley malt with light toffee and some very subtle chocolate and tar. This beer was a lot more complex than anticipated with some good carbonation and minimal filtration and no detectable alcohol.
