Wow. I love good cask ale. I've now had this brew on CO2, nitro and from the cask and this is by far the way to go. Just a wonderful nose, nice simple creamy texture and extraordinary flavor. The cascades come through like fresh grapefruit you just picked off the tree. Not a very special beer, but on cask, a freakin delight. After about 6 of them I finally blew the cask the other night and got the last half pint for free.

This Pale Ale poured a large head and it contained small-medium sized bubbles. The body of this beer was semi-cloudy. It had a fruity, citrusy aroma in my opinion with a lingering bitter taste. The lacing was very sparse on the sides of my glass with this beer.

On-tap at FarmBloomington.

This was getting to the end of the keg, and seemed very hazy at first. It settled with a thick and creamy inch of foam, with dimpled craters in its surface. Orange copper body once it settled it had good clarity.

Sweet and bready malt aroma, a little yeast and a touch of flowery hops in the nose. Sweet bread and butter flavors, citrus rind, backed up with a mild bitterness. Very creamy feel, possibly due to the extra end-of-keg sediment. Easy drinking, simple yet effective.

Rather malty, bread. Very mild citrus and grass. Balance is not quite there. An avoidable pale ale.

I have had this once before and remember it as a little lighter, not that's good or bad, just different. It has a nice appearance, darker amber than I recall. Nice creamy white head. Has a nice citrus hop smell, but a little maltier taste than alot of American ales (definitely not as bitter as Sierra Nevada)! Pretty tasty! I like the blending of the malt and hops, it has a good body, but it's very drinkable.

Sierra Nevada clone? Hmm. Maybe.

I have to say that I wasn't hugely impressed with this beer on cask. It just had a sandy consistency of mouthfeel which I could not stand, and the hop character was just too pithy - I was reminded alot of the hop tea I used to try to make.

Maybe I got a bad cask, but I just couldn't pick up any citrus or rounded fruitiness to this beer, just plain ole heartburn-causing bitterness.

First had at BuffaLouie's, Bloomington, Indiana, on draft into tumbler. A strong effort at an American Pale Ale, but perhaps a bit hoppier (and less malty) than expected for an APA.

On tap at Nicks in Bloomington.

A: Light clear amber body with minimal head.

S: Very light grain with some sweetness. For me this APA seemed to have a very light aroma.

T: Very light with some sweetness - honey, brown sugar, fruit. Apple?

M: Light to medium. A bit of sweetness. For an APA this seems somewhat on the light side. Not bad but not what I was expecting either.

O: Good but borderline on being too light. I will drink again hopefully.

cold from the tap at players pub a semi translucent honey gold ro a sierra nevada standard pint with a 1/2 finger foamy, big bubbled, long lasting off white head leaving spotty lace after the first few sips.

subtle grassy hops aroma and a bit of yeast and sweet aramel malt after.

muted hops alongside caramel-ly sweet malts and hints of butterscotch.

light bodied, big carbonation, minimal bitter to the roof of the mouth, malty sweet to the back of the tongue.

overall: ok, not great, refreshing, decent if you're staring at BMC choices otherwise.

Came to the table a nice orangish-coppor color with a bit of head and some nice lacing. Has a very light scent, but what's there is a nice hoppy/floral aroma. It also had a good, hoppy taste, with just a bit of bitter aftertaste, not the strongest pa I've had, but it's still quite nice and goes down fairly smoothly

This beer was good, but I like big apas, and this just wasn't big enough. good mouthfeel and it goes down smooth. smells good, nice hop presence. If you're eating at lennie's, this is a great choice to go with your pizza or pasta. This is my personal go-to beer at lennie's.
