Was in the area so I figured I'd stop in based on the good reviews on BA - was not disappointed. While not the largest, this unassuming little shop was stocked up for it's size. Craft brew section seems like it takes up half the store (I have no problem with that). Nice, clean, and well organized - noticed quite a few brews I hadn't found elsewhere, a few harder to find beers for the area (found me some FBS), some growlers from some of the local breweries, and you can mix six which is always nice. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are on par for the cape. There's not much to choose from down here and this place is a nice little gem. I definitely recommend - was glad I stopped in, no doubt I will stocking up here when I come back to vacation in the summer.

I stopped by Grain & Vine based on someone's recommendation. First thing I noticed is the layout of the shop. Everything is nicely spaced out & even with a number of people in there you won't feel like you're on top of each other (like some other shops I've been in).

The selection of craft beers is fairly extensive & the staff is VERY knowledgeable & helpful when it comes to any questions I had. You can also mix & match to make your own custom 6 packs which I enjoyed. They were also one of the only shops I was able to actually get a bottle of the Imperial Stout Trooper from.

While I was there they told me about their tasting sessions & I'm definitely going to make a point of going back to the Cape to attend one.

A nice little store with a very decent craft beer selection for the size of the store. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are ok to a little high - I suppose not bad for the Cape.

A major plus is that they allow purchase of singles. A great place to go if you want to try new things without commiting to a 6 or 4 pack.

However, this store was my wake-up call on paying attention to bottle dates. I assumed a small store with probably the best beer selection for many tens of miles would keep things moving. But when I went to drink some of my purchases and found they were not close to living up to their reputations on BA, I decided to check dates. I found out they were 4 - 8 months old. When I went to rate one beer, I found I couldnt even do it on the BA site because the brewery had been closed for over 1/2 a year! So shop carefully if you want fresh beer that lives up to its potential.

I was spending the week on Cape Cod, normaly I make the calls to family members asking what beers I should collect to bring down. My brother quicky says "we have this new beer shop, with all kinds of beer". So I pop in on my way down, wow! Finaly the Cape has beer! They have a great local/regional selection, a wall of bombers like Greenflash, Avery, and many, many others. The staff if helpful, friendly, and know what they are selling without the attitude you get in the city somtimes. You can pull singles from any package in the store to make your own sampler. They have a great beer tasteing on Friday nights. Well done Grain & Vine, I will be back!
p.s. thanks for turning me onto Grand Teton.

Friendly staff, clean store, great selection. So far the best I have seen on the Cape. My last trip in I was able to pick up Maharaja, and while talking about good beer with the staff, was told that they had some KBS in the back! I bought it of course! Great selection of locals, and everything reasonable in price. Also, you can break any pack in the store to make your own six, or buy by the single bottle. Staff was well informed and very helpful without overdoing it. They do weekly tastings too. I'll certainly be back.

We visited Grain & Vine while we were on Cape Cod for Easter. I checked out numerous places on BeerFly and this seemed like it would be the best choice. It was. I had called ahead of time to see if they had any Lost Abbey or Port brews in stock. No luck on the Lost Abbey, but he said they have plenty of Port.

I walked in and was happy to see how modern this place is. They have jars full of different hop varitials and a sweet glassware collection for show, and some to buy.

The craft selection took up the majority os the cooler space with a couple doors for macros. They have a ton of New England locals and others from across the country. The Belgian selection was impressive aswell.

I walked out with a mix 6 pack (since you can buy singles of anything in stock) and a bomber of a Port Brewing beer.

If you want an amazing selection of craft and the classic favorits, this place is for you! The staff is very knowledgable and egar to help you in any way. The store is clean and easy to navigate. Great place for beginers as they have beer tastings every Friday. Not sure what to take home? You can build your own six-packs with a variety of great beers. They have everything from bottles to growlers, pint glasses. If you don't see something you want to try they can (and will) get it in for you. The Grain and Vine is a real treat for vacationers as well as the locals as it has one of the best beer selections on Cape Cod.

The "go to" spot for craft beer on Cape Cod. The selection is great, the help you get from Alan is phenomenal and you can't beat the mystery 12er that he puts together. 12 different brews and styles but you don't know what you're getting until you get home and crack open the case. It reminds me of when I was a kid and bought a pack of baseball cards only it's about 15 times more rad since of course, IT'S BEER!

Cape Cod has finally caught up with the rest of the country in regard to it's interest in craft beer and this store is at the forefront of that.

Visited this place on the recommendation of Cape Cod BAs during my last visit home. Because my mom lives in Harwich, I typically visit stores close by, and have not been overwhelmed with their selection and service. Beerfly steered me to Grain and Vine, and the store did not disappoint me. It is well worth a few extra minutes on Route 6 - after all, Yarmouth is not that far away.

Bright, clean, and well-organized inside, with an excellent selection of domestic micro-brews, and probably the best Belgian selection I've seen on the Cape. Excellent service, too - they don't just glare at you behind the register, but work the aisles, making friendly and informed suggestions. A must-stop for anyone on Cape Cod.

This just opened up and is the best place to buy beer in South Eastern Massachusetts..Alan the owner formerly owned Downtown Wine and Spirits in Somerville, MA. He is extremely knowledgable and friendly and has over 400 available for purchase. The store contains selections in every style and from several countries. He allows you to purchase singles from sixes and has hard to get beers, like Founders and Samiclaus. Just one of the best beer stores I have ever been to, especially for the service. There is also a good selection of wine as well. Well worth the drive from Plymouth--or further.
