Went here after going out to eat elsewhere to kill some time. Walked in and sat at the bar. Ordered one of their IPAs they had on tap and sat for 10 minutes while the bartender tried to get enough head off the top of the beer so it could be served. Seriously, it took that long. Mainly due to improper pour. Other than that, it was okay with a nice small selection of on-tap beers to choose from. They also had a decent in bottle selection to choose from even though I didn't really check out the list to see what all was available. I would only recommend stopping in if you are in the market and need to sit down and take a break from shopping. Definitely wouldn't go out of your way to stop in.

I found out that the building was originally a carriage house, so it had a large, arched central window with a smaller window to the left and the double-wide doorway to the right (facing). We had to make our way past a phalanx of staff at the m.d.s. just to the right of the doorway (it would have been easier to get past Cerberus, kidding).

The short, "U"-shaped bar ran along the right wall, just beyond a staircase up to the second floor. Another staircase was just beyond the end of the bar with the entrance to the lavs to its left. The historic feel to the building was its draw with exposed brick, heavy wood beams, vintage light fixtures, and ceiling fans.

Beers: Brewed in Myrtle Beach, then brought here in kegs. Market St. Wheat; Raspberry Wheat; Nut Brown; Cooper River Red; Lowcountry Light Lager. Seasonal: New South White Ale.

Has what we at my company call a "Lunch and Learn" here recently. We get to get up and give presentations and learn everyone on the ways of our company. Not that anyone really cares.

We reserved the upstairs dining room and we had about 50 in there, which pretty much filled the upstairs room. This area overlooks a portion of the downstairs area and makes for a nice atmoshere; a bit loud but not too raucous.

Food was okay. Kind of bland American cuisine with nothing spectacular.

Beer selection was a bit weak for the area. I know they make their own, though offsite, but the selection were really quite pedestrian. I think they had six drafts.

Nothing to write home about at all. Okay if you are looking for a regional brew but the food is okay and the beer is below average. Meeting space is good but I will not come back on a leisurely visit.

Stopped in here for lunch on my last trip through town. I knew it was a chain going in but kept my reservations to myself. A nice place I have to admit as it was not really very crowded and had a decent sized bar. Beer was ok, better then what I had at southend, though that is not saying much. Food was great though and everything was very reasonable. Overall I would go bacl again for the food alone. Though the beer wasn't great there is worse. You can't beat the location though and for a chain it is respectable.

Walked in and seen a bar to the right - woops wrongs place, that is a dessert/martini place. Ok so back on track I find TBonz bar.

There were about 9 or 10 college kids at the bar, and sports on the TVs. This place seemed to be a mix of tourist and college kids.

I opted for the Winterfest. It was right on. I also tried a black angus burgewr which was good, although the garlic was a bit heavy. The fries that accompied it were also ok.

I had a meal and 2 beers and got out for under 20 - quite an accomplishment in CHS.

Worth a shot. I guess they brew there beer somewhere else, this is part of a a small chain.

We were in Charleston back in October. While strolling through the Market area, we stopped to read the menu. I saw that they have six house brews. I believe they are brewed off site, as we did not see any brewing equipment on property. Either way, we thought we'd stop in for a pint. Looks like a touristy kind of restaurant: lots of kitschy decorations, and tvs scattered around. The bar area has a few booths to relax in. They had six on tap: Red, Wheat, Raspberry Wheat, Brown, Light Lager, and Seasonal. I went with the seasonal Octoberfest, and my wife had the Raspberry Wheat. They had a promotion of donating 50 cents for every pint of Rasp Wheat sold that month to a cancer charity, which was nice. Our waitress was very friendly. Food looked decent, as lots of people around us where eating. I would judge this place a decent restaurant to grab some food and try a new beer. Can't beat the location, either.
