Great place for families, friends or to hang out at the bar. Back room has arcade games for kids and picnic tables for the adults. Movie theater has big tables next to seats to put your pizzas and beers. Plenty of tables inside for just hanging out. The selection of local Asheville beers is excellent and of course they brew their own which are all worth trying. Every town needs a place like this

Asheville Pizza and Brewing is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in Asheville. They’ve got a great selection of brew and some pretty awesome food. If you’re ever in the area, I’d highly recommend checking it out

I don't really know what to make of this place. I guess the concept is pretty good, as you can apparently get your food and beer and watch a movie in the theater section. If that's your kind of deal. When we went there for lunch, I didn't realize this was the case, and now upon looking back, it seems even weirder as there was a field trip or something going on and a swarm of middle school kids came flocking out of the theater section while we were there. This is a brewery? Okay then. Anyway, taking the place at face value, we snagged a seat in the outside area, but still had to order at the bar. The bartender was essentially not attentive at all, ignoring me to chat with his buddy. But eventually he made his way over and I put my order in. On the plus side, there was a good amount of beer to choose from, and sampler flights were an option. The brews weren't great, but certainly not terrible. My sampler included an IPA, a Burton ale, a rye amber, and a coffee porter. Good range of styles here. The food was okay, but nothing really to right home about. Basic stuff, burgers, quesadillas, pub grub, etc. And pizza, of course.
I'm glad I checked this place out, but I most likely wouldn't go back. There are so many better breweries and beer venues in Asheville, making this one easy to pass over.

So if the point is to grab a pizza, some beers, and see a movie, very well done. The pizzas were pretty darn flavorful. The atmosphere was a disaster. Chaotic at the front - lots of open tables but a long line to get in. We were seating in the game area, which had a Lord of the Flies feel. All of that being said, a decent selection of brews to try - though they don't do samplers because its too busy. Huh? Beers were good ( not great). I'd go back, but hopefully at a time when the place was less packed.

Busy due to movie theater, service can be excellent or lacking. Great beer, large selection of taps, varied menu and good food.
We frequent on Tuesday's for their special, $2 for their canned beer and $2.50 for a HUGE slice of pizza, and they make very good pizza

Amazing venues...both the downtown and the movie house on merrimon. Great place for dinner and a movie. A real Asheville experience. Beer is good, not great, but the food is amazing and the atmosphere is even better.

Went here on a Friday night with bad weather. The inside was completely full. Still sat our group fairly quickly. Food and drinks came out quick. Food was great. Pizza is fairly priced and incredible. IPA's were pretty standard. Perfect Day IPA was good. They had a beer called Carolina Mountain Monster (maybe) that was really good as well. Good selection and worth the trip for sure.

The last stop of the night brought us to Asheville Pizza and Brewing. As a matter of fact it was a happy accident finding this place. We were about to call it quit's and walking back to find a cab stumbled across a huge beer garden with a giant projection screen playing a rerun of that days Tour de France stage. We were drawn in as if by a tractor beam, not even sure what the place was at first.
Sitting outdoors we were immediately waited on by a friendly waitress that was quick to offer advice on both food and beer. Grabbed a pizza that was good drunk food if nothing exceptional and a pitcher of porter. The porter was enjoyable. It was a great night outside and being able to watch the Tour while eating pizza and drinking beer outdoors topped it off nicely. I'd recommend this place. It's a good time and good atmosphere.
