Noonan's is the upscale restaurant owned by Brendan Moylan of Marin Brewing and Moylans. It is in the same shopping complex as MBC.

Basically Noonan's will have MBC or Moylan's beers and some other micro taps and a full bar that MBC lacks. The liquor selection is pretty incredibly extensive but that doesn't really play on whether it's a good beer spot. Food quality is pretty good American bistro type fare. Prices are on the high side but not unusual for upscale dining in Marin County.

Here's my thing. If you're more a beer person then you'd be better served going to MBC or Moylan's. If you're a food first beer second person, Noonan's is good place with a nice beer list and good wine and great cocktails if you need to entertain a non-beerdrinker. Or if you are at MBC and want to try some Moylan's beer without a 30 minute drive, give it a shot.

It is pretty good just not really my thing with MBC right next door.

Note: If this were Liquor/Spirits advocate, my selection number would be a 5. But since I think we're mostly here for the beer, that's the lower number.
