3 Små Rum is a super cozy place, made up of three rooms in a basement. Atmosphere is inviting and friendly and owner Reza is a legend in Gothenburg. He both brews and manages the bar.
Selection is made up of about a dozen taps, with some of Reza's own brews as well as a good variety of American and European beers. There is also an extensive library of bottles, with a few legendary beers lurking about.
The biggest joy, to me about this place is Reza himself. You can tell he loves beer, and to chat to people about it, and life in general.
3 Små Rum is located a little bit off from the general beer area of Gothenburg, but you should really make the trip over here, it's a fantastic place!

It is only about beer in this place. Small and rather cozy, with a possibility to sit outside. Barman knew a lot about the beer they carry and made excellent recommendations according to my taste preferences.
There are only very good beers from the best Scandinavian macros on the tap with good bottled beers selection. Good in beer geek sense, of course, everything about rare and limited editions.
It is pricey, but certainly worth it. I would not buy bottles, they were overpriced even for Swedish price level, but draught beers was money well invested.

This pub was recommended to me by a member on the Scandinavian desk at the Great British Beer Festival. Finding it from his directions was quite easy. It really is a great addition to the Goteburg beer scene with a wide choice of beers. The bottle beer selection is amazing, although I do feel it is overpriced, even by Swedish standards. Beers on tap were well chosen and a good mix. I avoided the amazingly expensive porter from Norway and went for the more local choices, usually a good tactic when not mainstream. I was not disappointed. The Ocean IPA was of an acceptable standard but the Dugges Celebration Ale (a brewery I rate highly) was very impressive. As mentioned in another review the title of the pub "Three Small Rooms" describes it. Good atmosphere and very comfortable and we tried all three. I did feel that the barman, who I think is the owner, was a bit alouf but maybe his English is not so good (very unusual for Sweden but I think he is Persian.)
Overall well worth a visit if you are in Goteborg and very central being just off Avenyn.

The name describes this place quite good: It is three small rooms in a basement. Breweriana decorations. Cozy or narrow? It depends, I guess.
The head of the bar, Reza, really seems to enjoy his work as the refrigerators are packed with exclusive beers from Sweden, the US and Europe. Some of them are even cellared.
Although not very many taps, the ever rotating assortment is carefully selected from Swedish, Scandinavian and Belgian micro breweries. Some whiskies and wines, but no drinks or RTDs: This place is about beer.
The staff got very good knowledge about the beers and are happy to share it to the customers.
