there is an industrial theme to the interior, very high open ceilings painted black with all exposed hvac and very modern seats and tables. the bar is the center of the room and must seat close to one hundred, it's huge! Several dozen beers on tap that offer something for everybody. Recent visit had me try the Wurzburger lager and an old favorite Dogfish 60 Minute. Bartenders are young and don't really know anything about the beers they sell but will let you taste whatever you request. This place would be a nightclub on weekend nights for the 20-30 something crowd. Menu is a mix of southwest and california and prep is fine and decently prepared. Because this place is literally in the shadow of Foxboro Stadium, where the Pat's play, that makes for a fun vibe if you're into that.

Went their last night and we sat on the rooftop, where it is a "seat yourself" setup. We find an open table and waiting about 10-15 minutes for the waitress to even greet us. Finally the waitress comes over to take our drinks and i ordered a beer from the menu... The waitress explains they dont have that up on the roof. So i pick another and the same thing. Finally she reads me what beers they have. all domestic. With the kitchen being downstairs, they have to walk up and down stairs with the food, i dont understand why they cant go get a beer from the bar downstairs as well. That or use a different drink menu for the rooftop.

Food was great, but i think it was sitting too long before we got it. I got the "street tacos" which were suppose to be like fajitas. Cast iron pan.. everthing should have been sizzling? or at least hot... everything on my plate was in between luke warm and cold.

Hopefully the experience is a little better if we eat inside next time.

Located in Patriot Place, bar is located in the middle of a large open room. Has seating at the bar for 25-35, tables and booths for maybe 100 more around the bar. 10 large screen TV's above the taps. Bar is wood with marble like tiles in it. Other side of room had a video game.

Friendly waitresses always asking if we needed anything. Food was a little slow to be ordered and served. It was lunch time and the place was about 1/3 capacity.

Beer selection was across the board, some of the mass produced to selections from Abita, Hooker, Stone, Dogfish Head, and Paulaner. Just a few of the 25-30 or brews to choose from and 1 cider. Had two pour sizes to choose from 14 oz. and 20 oz.

Food was ok, ordered an item from the menu which tasted good but was not prepared per description. Serving size was good and filling.

Prices were reasonable, it is a $1 more between sizes of beer. Food was also reasonable in price.

Nice place to have a couple of brews and grab lunch or maybe dinner.

I went to Bar Louie last night and the atmosphere was fun and lively. There were a lot of groups having holiday parties and they holiday music playing. There were a bunch of televisions around the bar area so it was nice to be able to catch a glimpse of the game even though we weren't sitting at the bar.

My friend was pleased with the extensive cocktail list including the holiday cocktail specials. They had a large amount of beers on-tap, but a lot of them were beers you'd find just about anywhere including budwesier, stella artois, guiness, sam adams, and miller. However, the beer of the week was Dogfish Head 60 minute and they did have Rogue Dead Guy Ale so I had one of each of those.

The service was good which was impressive given how incredibly busy the place was.

The food was very good. We split a couple of appetizers and dessert and everything was delicious. The menu is very big so there is plenty to choose from.

I would recommend this place.

Bar Louie had a pretty decent selection for being at Patriot Place. Though it was surrounded by a relatively lame shopping center, I was thoroughly pleased to be able to have lunch and a decent selection of beers on tap. A quick glance revealed Arrogant Bastard, Allagash White, Sam Adams Imperial White, among others. The food was good too, with a wide selection of sandwiches, along with pizza, and mains. The only complaint I had were minor--the music selection they played was generic pop that they played louder than I expected. Overall a great pick if you are at Patriot Place.

I went to this place in June of 09. Not a bad place at all, service was good, beer selection was not to bad. The only beer I did drink was Rouge Dead Guy, but had many more that I wanted to try, but at the risk of confusing the trainee waitress, I stuck with it. Great boneless wings, try the En Fuego , the hottest they make. At first, not so hot, but after the first few they start to warm you up, and end up burning the mouth, forcing me to drink more Dead Guy. OOOH twist my arm please. Dead Guy plus a few carrot and celery sticks made it bearable. Burgers were good. Not a bad place even though in the shadows of Gillette Stadium. Go JETS!

Went to Patriot Place this past weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. First stop was at CBS Scene. Cool bar, lots of TVs, but the beer selection left a lot to be desired. Headed off to dinner at Bar Louie, and I thought we would be in for the same. No, I was wrong. Much better selection. Some of the beers on draft: Allagash White, Wachusett Green Monsta, Rouge Dead Guy and Mocha Porter, DFH 60, Avery IPA, plus a bunch of Germans and the usual selection of Americans. OK, there are a few winners to keep me happy for the evening. Beer prices were a bit high: $6 or $6.50 depending on glass size. But the relatively cheap price for food balanced things out. Food overall was mostly bar food and meals, and everyone enjoyed the apps and sandwiches/burgers. Our waiter was super friendly, and I would have rated him higher, but he seemed extremely busy and had to be asked a bunch of times for things. And they brought out all the apps and meals at the same time to a party of six -- no room on the small table! I hate that. He did throw in a free dessert for the birthday boy, which was cool. We walked around a bit in the complex to see where else we could stop for a drink, and I personally decided that this was the best option at Patriot Place for a beer drinker.
