Appearance: pours a clear orange color with a 1" head.

Smell: mild aroma as some citrus and earthy tones hit the nose.

Taste: caramel, lemon zest, grapefruit, and an earthy bitterness are the main flavor components.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp throughout. Mild aftertaste.

Overall: a decent IPA but it is a bit heavy handed on the earthy bitter side. Cool looking can.

A - Pours a bright medium gold color with perfect carbonation and a generously thick, frothy white head, foam sticks to the glass like cotton candy.

S - Pine and citrus, moderate to light aroma.

T - Pine, citrus and floral with a very light touch of onion/garlic/rye spice with a hint of herbal character. This beer is about the hops and the malt is very subdued. Coats the mouth with citrus, lemons, and pine.

M - Medium body with gentle carbonation.

O - This beer is a sleeper, never expected this and definitely would buy again.

Had this in the wide mouth can at Citizens Bank Park. Good beer from Sly Fox. I will buy it again.

Poured from a tallboy can into a pint glass. Cool peel-off top

L: Mostly clear medium golden pour. Two fingers of foamy white head. Great lacing.

S: Caramel and grainy malts. Evergreen and citrus.

T/F: Rich biscuity malts up front. Grainy for sure, with a fairly straightforward citrus and pine hop profile. Well balanced and doesn't come across as overly bitter. Some herbal/peppery notes. Medium in body... more than expected. Great carbonation. Finish is modestly bitter and oily hops.

O: A solid IPA from Sly Fox. Not a home-run but a solid ground rule double. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

The aroma is a little weak for a robust IPA, but the flavor sings with biting, spicy citrus hops. Give the beer a good swirl and more subtle melon and tangerine come forward. A mild toasty malt character seems to mix into those dry, herbal hops, but the flavor is supremely hop-forward. Overall, a very cool beer from Sly Fox. The bitter finish is very satisfying and not too thick or astringent. Reminds me a bit of Sierra Nevada's Torpedo IPA.

Hand pump to pint glass (Standard Tap in Philly). Nice golden amber with tight full head. Smells of pine and some berry flavor. Heavy hop flavor (pine, some mild citrus) with dry finish. Very smooth mouth feel and very drinkable. Enjoyable IPA.

16oz can. Poured a golden color with about a finger of cloudy head. Citrus and some pine in the scent. Large amount of lemongrass in the taste and makes for an off taste for an IPA. The lemongrass was the only thing I was tasting as it warmed in the glass. Not very well balanced for the ingredients on the label.

Decent IPA, but you know it can only go downhill when the best takeaways are the feel of the can and the removable top that allows the can to double as a glass. Worth trying, but wouldn't have again unless it was offered for free.

-Wide mouth can to spiegelau ipa glass.

A: Rustic orange, dense and hazy, has a slow moving and light touch of carbonation. A dull, weathered white crown is one inch high, fairly firm in its stance that finishes with some speckling lace dabs on the vessel. Lasting coverage atop to the final sip.

S: Fresh herbs, spicy citric and old school tart lemonade aroma. Maybe a bit of whiskey sour lemonade with some pungent flowery hops. Lighter side of medium intensity.

T: Definitely some whiskey sour lemonade flair on the flavor, along with some spicy flowery, pungent hops. Some underlying grassiness is the backdrop to some citric hops and pungent flowery tones. Deep sense of toasted malt, bready, with a nice strong sense of hoppiness. Dry and bitter with a bit of fruity-grapefruit herbal hops on the knockout.

M: Medium creamy malt body, toasted dryness, bittering, with a low sense of carbonation. Heavy dose of toasted speciality malts, bittering dry citrus hop finish has a flowery sense.

O: Nice dose of hops, good drinkability rate, solid, very good beer that feels old school here with a helping of dry hops and speciality malts. Good and balanced flavor.

Pours a deep orange color with good clarity. White head forms and leaves good lacing.

Hoppy aroma of pine and tropical fruit. Some malt sweetness and faint alcohol smell.

In the taste, hoppy citrus, pineapple, pine and pith. Really nice bright hoppy flavors making my taste buds do a 360. Pale malt foundation adds a balancing quality to the beer, yet still hop forward in a satisfying manner. As it warms more toasty malt flavor comes out along with leafy hops.

Medium bodied, well carbonated ale that drinks like a pale but definitely tastes like IPA.

Overall, this is a very good IPA by Sly Fox. The canned reviews seem more disappointing, but on draft this tasted very bright and fresh.

Pours a clear golden orange color with a tight, white head that leaves little chunks of lacing.

Smells of citrus and pine hops.

Tastes of the bright hops layered over a solid malt base. Hops lead off with notes of grapefruit and pine. This gives way to some herbal notes. Malts add in with caramel sweetness and toasted bread. Earthy hops come towards the end. Finishes with lingering hops.

Mouthfeel is medium with a smooth amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a pretty good IPA.
