Crisp, bready, lightly grassy and delicious... just like thus under represented style shold be. Kudos to sly fox for brewing quality traditional shit.

Badass can too. Never seen a lid the peels completely off before.

Get some.

from notes 9/6/17. On tap at Hucklebucks in Pottsville.

Arrives in a pint glass. Pale to medium yellow body, initially good white head with dissipates to a faint ring, nice lacing at first, then none.

pretty malty on the hose, faint citrus, nothing else.

grassy sweet taste, seems nicely balanced with a faint hop bite.

medium on the mouth, somewhat sweet on the finish.

Overall, a decent enough beer. Not spectacular by any means, but nothing wrong with it either. Oddly enough, after living in east central pa for 25 years, this is my first Sly Fox beer.

Golden colored beer with very little foam. Taste is bready with as light hop profile. Overall a good beer that I feel is worthy of at least one try!!!

From a can. Not much to look at. Wan yellow in the glass with little carbonation visible. No head to speak of. A hint of bright malt in the nose. Refreshing taste, biscuity and well balanced with a hint of fruity hops. Very easy drinking. You could put a few of these down. Went well with Asian food I had for dinner.

12 oz can, best by date on the bottom

clear golden yellow, white head. grainy, crackery aroma - with some noble hops - earthy. taste is well balanced, fairly clean. good mouthfeel, not too thin.

Golden colored see through look to this beer as is common for the style. To me it's a malty scent, not much else on the nose. As I've had this more than a few times before, I also like the peel top can but this time it's from draft. Good hells flavor of bready malts with some slight hops in there for a small bite. Overall, pretty good.

This is a beer I could drink nicely in the summer. Flavorful and crisp. Light breadiness.

First of all, I love that they sell this in the old style can where the whole top opens. This is a solid lager that goes well with almost anything. Slight floral notes. Great balance of malt and hops. Very clean and fast finish.

On draft. It arrived without much head. Golden and clear with not much carbonation. The nose if very malty, somewhat grassy and sweet. Taste is similar, with strong elements of hey-like flavors. Medium body.
