Nice golden color and almost no head after quick dissipation. Nose and flavor are identical, with a solid bread and butter malt base with a fruity finish featuring apple peel and floral hops. Super drinkable in warm weather outdoors situations, I would wager, but its' cold and rainy now.

Appearance: Pours a near clear, pale yellow body with a medium-sized, white head.

Smell: Slim scent, fleeting hints of white bread, dehydrated florals, spice.

Taste: Modestly bready, a little backing of crunchy grain and a succinct sweetness. Softly spicy, mildly floral with a very faint touch of bitterness. All the already mild flavors quickly wash away for the thinning finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body, a little thinnish. Medium carbonation.

Overall: It'll do.

12 ounce can into a pilsner glass. Had 7/27/23.

Pours a clear, pale golden color, with a one and a half inch foamy head with light foamy lacing. Looks ok at first, but it really fades to flat looking. Aromas of malt, light yeast, some bread. Smells a bit floral. Flavors of malt, wheat, light caramel, a little yeast. Tastes floral. Smooth, somewhat crisp, a good lighter body, carbonation fades to being a little on the low side.

Not sure how old this can was. Seemed normally carbonated at first then it dropped off quickly, which in turn kind of affected everything else. It was pleasant, at least for a few minutes.

OK, it's not a typical American Adjunct Lager, mainly because the label says so. But, after two twelve ounce cans of it are emptied into a clear glass liter mug, it sure looks like one. The bright and nearly clear amber color looks like most of them. The mild hop and mild barley smell is like most of them. In fairness, it tastes a little better than those, as it's just a little hoppier and a little maltier to taste than the low bar. There's even a slight nuttiness to taste that approaches a good Pilsner. But, those attributes are a tough find, not pronounced. In general, this drinks and ends up looking, smelling and tasting like a typical American Adjunct Lager; albeit a good one, sorry to report.

One finger of egg shell white head and clear straw color. There are saltine crackers, honey, and something like evaporated milk on the nose. The taste is malt and freshly baked biscuits. The finish is faintly grassy and hoppy. This is crisp and doesn't hang about. Drinks nicely and goes with the popcorn I'm eating!

Nearly clear (light haze), straw-colored liquid. Minor head but the film and rim bubbles last throughout the tasting. No lacing except for very few minute spots.

Mostly malty nose but there are raw barley grain elements, too. Light milkiness. No notable hop as expected.

Mostly dry with a touch of maltose sugar. Highly carbonated with a thinner body, perhaps a bit more than the style. The crisp finish leaves a very short aftertaste.

12 oz can
Consumed 19 Aug, 2022
Glass: 333mL Pokal
Temp at Pour: 50.6 F

Look:
Clear golden yellow that is full of bubbles. Initial 3-finger creamy and foamy white head dissipates fairly quickly to a ring-and-island. Some lacing is left along the glass.

Smell:
Sweet biscuit dough with a touch of lemon and one of honey. There is very light scent of cut grass in the background.

Taste:
Follows the nose but with the lemon note somewhat more pronounced. There is also a slightly zesty bitterness to the snip. Things dry a bit towards the end, but not by much.

Feel:
Soft and clean. Well carbonated. Body is light-medium.

Overall:
A solid Helles.

L - Poured a a clear amber with a two-finger, white foamy head that dissipated quickly to a broken thin film. Light lacing is present.

S - Very faint cracker and malt.

T - Malty with cracker, grain, light grass and hops. Somewhat sweet. Pleasantly surprised.

F - Moderate body and carbonation. Feels heavy in the stomach for the style.

O - Good but not approaching some of the better German brews.

A good session beer - low ABV and quite refreshing. It pours a clear pale amber color, with a minimal head. The aroma is that of fresh apple cider. The taste is dry and malty with a touch of bitterness.
