Pours a clear straw yellow color with at least 1 inch of foamy white head which has great retention and spotty lacing on the glass, especially at the top. Smells are plentiful and strong with lemon, spicy and citrus hops, and light malt and bread. Taste is very biscuity up front, with some honey and lemon butter with a dried grass hop finish. Medium-light in body with good carbonation and a crisp, dry finish. A fairly good pils that would go great while out fishing or doing some other activity where cans would be more convenient than bottles.

Got a can from a buddy up north. Poured it into a pint glass. Got a nice little foam that turned into thin fingers in a minute, over a straw colored body. Smells a little malty, a little hoppy, and like it has a complex sweetness behind it. I really like the smell. Tastes less sweet than it smells, with a reasonable but changing hoppiness and a crisp finish. I sure wouldn't mind having a few more.

12oz can served in a pilsner glass.

Semi-hazed golden yellow color with a white head that left swirls and spots of lacing behind.
The aroma is that of a German brewed beer, Euro hops and malts.
The taste is good and nicely balanced all the way through.
The feel is crisp, clean, light & refreshing.
Goes down easy.

12oz can into a pint glass.

Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a one finger thick white head. Really good head retention and lacing.

Aroma of grassy hops and hay along with some wet grass. A bit of biscuit underneath. Quite nice.

Taste is even better with some floral notes to go along with the grassy hay. Moderate to high bitterness that kind of surprised me but I like it. The mouthfeel is a little silky and not super crisp which is a bit of a letdown but it is ok.

Overall, a good pilsner but not super awesome. It is a very nice summer beer, though, and I would pick it up again.

Bought a 12 pack sampler cans while on vacation at Delaware shore with best by date on bottom of 7/19/14 (drinking it on 7/11).

Has more of an orange IPA appearance than the normal yellow/straw color of other pilsners I've seen. Nice puffy head with lots of carbonation and great retention.

Has a very pleasant smell for a pils. German hops, grassy smell. Very nice.

Taste - Taste was a little off putting at first and not really sure what flavors I'm picking up here. Perhaps a sweet cracker kinda taste? After a few more sips, I've gotten used to this unique flavor profile on a pilsner and its sessionable. Has your typical dry/crisp finish for a pilsner. I'm really not picking up much of the typical Noble hop flavors in this one.

Mouthfeel is fine for a a cold summer beer.

Overall - Its a fine beer. Not the best flavor profile representative of the style, but is still a good summer brew and enjoyable.

This is likely the hoppiest beer in the style of a German Pils that I've come across. And by "hoppy" I mean all-around - smell and taste. It's got quite the zip on it.

Pours with a generous head and nice, clean, light copper color. Leaves some random bands of sticky lacing. All in all has it together.

The aroma takes a vicious rip at the nostrils - zesty, spicy, sharp, herby, and mildly detergent-like. Not so much unique or distinct in the smell but aggressive and exciting in the intensity.

The electric hop buzz translates powerfully into the flavor. Quite citrusy and sugary on top of the adjectives I used to describe the aroma. The sensation starts off strong up front and courses through to the back rapidly, fades slightly toward the end and snaps off crisp. Residual sugars and a touch of syrupy malt linger. All that and a lively amount of carbonation makes this almost soft-drink-like.

With all that hop jazz going on, you'd think it'd drink like an IPA, however, the malt meat is light and distinctive pilsner essences are found underneath. The elements are balanced fairly well, overall, as the beer bursts with flavor. An accessible and interesting twist on the style.

A 355ml can with a BB of Oct 2013, so it's just out of date. Acquired a little while back from Trembling Madness in York. Described on the label as a North-German style pilsner.

Poured into a stemmed pilsner glass. A hazy pale-gold hue with plentiful carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam with good stability; this slowly subsides to a thick surface layer. Lovely lacing - this beer looks spot on. Aroma of light, grainy malt with hints of noble hops, grass/hay, subtle floral notes and earthy yeast. Possesses a depth that only properly matured lagers have.

Tastes of light malt and grassy hops, with a crisp, dry finish. Notes of mild grain, grass/hay, noble hops, faint floral hints, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Well-attenuated, with a twinge of sulphur in the background. A restrained, leafy bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with lively carbonation and good body for the style. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter noble hops and faint earthy yeast.

Nice - a tasty pilsner with good depth. It looks superb (perhaps enhanced by the glass), while the aroma and flavour have subtle hop and malt notes that balance perfectly. Good body. A great little brew - crisp and refreshing. Well worth grabbing if you come across it.

Solid pils that pours pale straw colored with a touch of haze that settles out. Fluffy white head that doesn't rise as much as I expected. Smells of pale malts and grassy hops. Taste is light, baggutte-like breadyness graced by subtle peppery hop flavor. Sweet and bitter with good balance. Crisp and clean finish to this light-bodied refresher.

12 oz can into a pint glass.

Pours a clear gold with 2 fingers of foamy brite-white head that maintains a nice thin retention and leaves some good lace behind. The aroma is fresh, grassy hops (with some addtional hoppy esters behind it), citrus notes, and light sweet maltiness. Finishes bitter and dry.

The taste is a tingling hop bitterness up front with some hints of spice and citrus thrown in and that is all held up by a firm malt backbone. The mouthfeel is a light medium with a crisp feel although I do get a touch of hop oil slickness at times.

A solid Pils for sure, this packs a good taste and excellent drinkibility into one fresh tasting can of beer. Great for summer drinking folks!

As good as an US Pils. Hard to tell them apart without a blind tasting. Great in summer.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with visible, persistent bubbles, and a thick sub finger head that doesnt last or lace much.

Smell: Noble hops with a fresh, sweet and citrusy aroma. Typical.

Taste: Starts with the sweet, citric, and lemony aspect and becomes crisp with a bright noble hop finish. Bright, ample.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, nicely carbonated, clean finish.

O: as good as the best such as Victory.
