This is absolutely the best brewery in the DE Valley to go to, to buy a growler. No ripoffs here. All the growlers are reasonably priced at just $10. You can't beat that, and the beer here just gets better and better over the years!

This place is a really good addition to the area! Great for a fun night out! I was there in winter, but they have a really nice looking outdoor seating area. We ate pizza and a sandwich, and both were pretty good. The beer is good also. I like their huge wooden slab tables and glass wall. Check it out!! A 4/5 score in Phoenixville is worth checking out!!

stopped by for a few beers on a Saturday night. Brewpub is in a strip mall. Smaller inside than I expected - there are tables for dining, and then a fairly large bar, with windows through to the brewing tanks. They've got about a dozen beers on tap, a mix of year round and seasonal/one-off. Plus a cask conditioned beer on hand pump. good variety, and solid beers.

My wife and I took the hour drive to Phoenixville yesterday for lunch.
The brewery is located in a strip mall, right off of Route 113. It's not the most scenic of locations, but it's functional enough. The interior is a pretty open and lets in a good amount of light. We sat at the bar, which is a light-colored wood and rather deep. Behind the bar, you have pretty good visibility of the brewing operation.
A major snowstorm was on the way, so at 1 PM on a Friday, the bar was pretty full of people getting growlers filled. There were a few tables having lunch, as well.
There were about 15 beers on-tap, in addition to 3 casks. I had a one-off festbier, as well as their Odyssey IPA and London Porter on cask. I have to say, I was very impressed by their cask conditioning.
Food was good. We had the pierogies (very good) and the French onion soup (excellent). I had the pretzel burger (solid, but overcooked) and my wife has the grilled cheese (very good). Prices are reasonable, totally in-line for solid bar food.
Our bartender was very attentive, without being overbearing.
In addition to growlers, Sly Fox has all of their canned and bottled beers available for takeout. I bought a mixed case of 12 Pikeland Pils and 12 Helles for a pretty reasonably $33.
It was a good time, with good beer and good food. I'd definitely visit again.

Functional space, though somewhat stoic, in a suburban strip mall in PA. It was November so the outdoor seating was closed, but that looked like a nice area for a brew. There were about 15 beers on tap, which you could create your own sampler. The variety was good, though I find the basic stuff (Phoenix Pale, Rte 113, etc) to be at the top of the list. Had a small dinner, good selection to b had, food was pretty good. Overall, worth stopping by and checking out, though not a destination location

I have visited this place a few times -once for the goat races which is an annual event that attracts many based on the German music food and beer theme. I find this place to be a cozy place and a good one to enjoy a draft -They have bottles available like their Saison vos which I shared. The service is decent and atmosphere is pleasant I would recommend stopping in if you havent checked them out -I personally like the saison but they also have a decent pilsner, pale and the MaiBock if on is great this time of year

Pretty average, though the food was better than average. It didn't help that the saison I tried was very overly floral.
