Pours a clear, glowing orange, pale amber producing 2 fingers of frothy, lasting, white head that leaves webs, streaks & blothes of clumpy lace, receding to a nice surface cap & collar ring. Generous effervesce rises from the bottom after the pour. Aroma is grain, toast, honey, cracker, caramel, tropical fruit, spice, black pepper, stiff egg whites, cat urine & weak citrus. Taste is caramel, honey, cracker, tropical fruit, spice & thin orange/citrus. Sweet fronted & fruity it finishes bittersweet and remains so we'll into the aftertaste where all fades but the bitter on the back of the tongue. Mouthfeel is medium-heavy bodied with moderate carbonation, juciy, creamy & tongue coating.

From the bottle, it pours a clear light amber with a modest head. Eventually, the head reduces to a big ring and a continent. Hops in the nose...malt and hops in the mouth. Decent IPA..

Poured into a small chalice: color is gold, fairly transparent, good effervescence; head is off white that presents 1/2 inch thick then dissipates to ring on the glass with some lacing.

Smell is toasty, light biscuit good malt presence with an earthy/herbal hop presence.

Taste is similar to the aroma with light biscuit and pleasant malt flavors.

Found a bottle at the supermarket and decided to give it a try. Pours a nice Amber with solid thick head that sustains. Smelled like a cheap beer but flavor is more complex. Peppery with very faint citrus. A little malty. Not my favorite IPA and not one that I will seek out. It was better with food.

Pours a cloudy maize color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of spicy hops, floral hops, sweet malt, hint of tea, slight yeast, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level and average bitterness. Tastes of spicy hops, floral hops, sweet malt, hint of tea, slight yeast, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, good appearance, complexity, and blend.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in an IPA glass

This beer pours a brilliant amber color. It is topped with several inches of beige head that leaves some lacing rings as I imbibe.

I get some biscuit and citrus along with a little tea and pine.

The taste is a balance of bready malt and citrus hops. There is some pine in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel

It is better than I expected. I expected a huge turd. I got a small one.

Solid finger head with adequate retention, even surface, cream white color, the lacing is thick and splotchy. Dark metallic orange colored liquid, fully transparent, active and quite huge bubbles, looks like someone is blowing through it. Arch and aggressive nose, very grainy with pine, quinine, earth and leafy matter, very raw with no softness, hard to register anything beyond very basic white pit fruit scents. Full-bodied, dry and sticky texture which tends to interrupt flow through the mouth. Mouth entry allows for some caramel and orange citrus pulp but after that it’s back to the unprocessed grains, metal shavings, minerally earth and green matter. The astringency and bitterness get tiring after awhile and here too the lack of peach, apricot to apple fruit lessens enjoyability. Touch of malted milk balls to Ovaltine powder. The carbonation gives it a steady churn but its presence is not close to what you’d think it would be based on visual inspection. Seems like a polarizing offering, gonna love it or hate it type. It’s a pass here.
