On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Head disappeared pretty quick leaving virtually no lacing. Best thing was the malty spiciness of the aroma & flavor. Just the right bite to be interesting.

Of all the Vienna Lagers I've tried, this is the most flavorful. Goes well with food and a good sipping beer. With or without a lime. Toasted malt flavors with a bit more hop than other Viennas I've tried, which, in this case, is not a bad thing for me. Very good beer.

Pours a clear copper color. 1/2 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, pale malt, slight caramel malt, grass, and a hint of wheat. Fits the style of a Vienna Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, pale malt, slight caramel malt, grass, sight citrus hops, and a hint of wheat. Overall, aroma is hurt by the grass, but body is better if still only average.

The creamy almond head briefly reaches one half inch and dissipates within sixty seconds. Random carbonation can be seen within the chill-hazed honey amber. No lace graces the wall of a handblown Pilsner glass.

The aroma is initially rich sweet malt, then transitions to caramel and Earl Grey tea. Warmth brings out the aroma of almond paste.

The flavor follows the nose, adding honey and lightly toasted white bread. The flavors are full and the finish is mild and brief.

This beer has a medium body with a soft smooth texture. Light carbonation scrubs a creamy mild coating from the palate. This bottle indicates the ABV to be 5.2%.

This is a decent beer which I imagine would go nicely while watching or playing sports or with casual conversation.

What can I say? I love Vienna lagers. This is a tasty and refreshing beer. It displays a great head following the initial pour from the can. The flavor is more than pleasant and I enjoyed its follow through.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is amber, transparent, head is off white to light tan, head presents about 1/4 thick but dissipates quickly.

Smell is so simple, yet so good: clean vienna malt with toast, light caramel, hint of bread, then light earthy/dry hops.

Taste is very good: clean vienna, a little on the sweet side with caramel, but a good balance of toast and bread; hops are subtle but earthy in flavor.

Mouthfeel is crisp, a little sweet, good carbonation and nice lingering presene; a bit dry and near biting on the tongue but the lingering flavor softens this.

Overall: a very, very good vienna style lager - great malt presence, clean flavors, nothing off - just easy drinking with a bit of sweetness but hops to balance.

Pours a dark orange or light amber color into a typical pint glass. Very little head and carbonation. Smell is slightly malty, no hops detectible. Initial taste is sweet, malty and molasses like. very smooth and drinkable. No lacing at all. The feel it a little thicker in the mouth than a typical lager as well. Overall a very pleasant tasting, smooth brew that definitely

A: Dark copper color, big off white head that dissipates pretty quick, not much lacing

S: Getting some maltyness, like caramel and also a lager yeast smell

T: Nice sweetness, I get the caramel and maybe a bready taste, a little hoppy bitterness on the end

M: Light to medium

O: A tasty lager, much better than most of your traditional American Lagers. I would definitely have it again.
