Poured from a growler into my Flying Mouflon glass. It poured a murky, orange caramel color with a thick foamy head filling the top two inches of the glass.
The fresh cascade hops really stand out in the aroma giving it a herbal, slightly peppery flavor with some moderate notes of of citrus. The fresh hops are pretty bold, it's tough to get anything else in the aroma besides them. They are pretty good and definitely fresh though.
Again, the taste is showing lots of fresh cascades throughout with peppery, herbal and citrus flavors to them. A little caramel peeks through in the finish. Again, the hops are bold, fresh and pretty appealing overall.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with carbonation being a little above average. Overall, it was a pretty solid fresh hop beer. The hops were bold, flavorful and fresh. Really cool to taste some fresh locally grown hops.
