Poured on tap into a shaker pint glass.

A real nice copper body color. Hints of orange and mahogany brown, and very clear. Presented with a faint tan head only about a finger in size. Light and scattered lacing. Very beautiful.

Nose is real toasty. Crispy sense of caramel and faint brown sugar. A good for sense of wood and dry crackling grains. Very dry malts. Light sense of body hinted but big full rich bouquet.

Palate brings huge toasty palate. Lots of dense toasted crackling grain, with an almost lager like stickyness (yes i know its an ale). Good sticky caramel with malt honey coating palate. Some crispness come on multiple sips. Very airy toasted malts

Overall just a great Scottish ale, fron a brewery that knows how to deliver.
