I got a few cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I got at a beer store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had very subtle hints of grain. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp light malt and subtle saaz finish hops. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Mild aromas of yeast upfront. Some German bread in the middle and smooth bready finish.
Flavor: Initial flavor is of some faint lemon and yeast upfront. The yeast is strongand somewhatdrying, which turns into a full and smooth bready malt flavor. Finishes malty on the end.
Feel: Medium to full-bodied. Strong carbonation and yeast. Yet a larger malty body to allow the beer to finish somewhat sweet.
Compared to Pryes Pragmatic Pils 8/19/21: Pours a slightly lighter color. Similar aromas. More yeast and bread. Less floral and bitter. More malty, larger, and smoother.
Compared to Bahaus Wonderstuff 8/20/21: Pours a similar color, milder head. Similar aromas. More yeast, dry cracker. Less lemon, and bread malt.
Overall: A pretty standard pilsner here. Pours a nice color. The usual aromas. Faint lemon with a yeasty and bready malt finish. Somewhat larger body and finishes bready. Maybe this was leans toward a more Czech-style pilsner with the malts here. Drinkable and nice, but nothing extraordinary. (Current Rating: 3.71)

Thanks Eric.
This was poured into a pilsner glass.
The appearance was a semi-milky yellow color, some transparency, small sheet of a white foamy head settling off at a decent pace. Not much lace, somewhat speckled here and there.
The aroma had some sweet corn, dried biscuity malts, and dried grassy hops. Subtle grains and lemon round out the back end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side pushing the hops pretty much out of the picture here. The more I taste, the sweeter it gets. And the aftertaste definitely has a huge sweetness to it, somewhat grainy and with a certain degree of corn.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed alright. Finish had some corn sweetness, slight grains, and grassiness.
Overall, odd pilsner to me. Thankful that I got to try but probably wouldn't necessarily reach for if I lived in the distro of this beer.

Grainy and floral aroma. A little herbal. Yeast at first but it leaves.
Full dense white head. Pale golden body that approaches clear.
Nice hop presence from the get go but never too much and bitterness stays in check. Bitterness lays on the tongue along with a slight tartness which also hits the cheeks. Good balance of hops with the grainy malt flavors.
Solid lager bit and crispness. Smooth and appropriately light feel.
This is good. A tartness shows in time, but better that than too much bitterness. Clean.

Pours light golden in color. Approximately a finger width head poured into a beer glass. Not a fan of this, reminds me of a bud lite with less carbonation, tastes like a Hamms. Does not taste like a Pilsner at all to me at least in the sense I am used to. Nothing special about this at all, and I can get cheaper beers that taste the same.

I poured this from a bottle into a clear teardrop beer glass. It's very light colored and clear with a one finger white head. It's a nice taste but I don't taste the apple that others taste. I'd prefer a bit more carbonation. I'd buy it again though. It would be a good summer beer and a good one to keep on hand for others who don't like their beers as chewy as I do.

I have read the other reviews about this beer and I am scratching my head. It almost seemed more like a light beer or light Ale than a Pilsner. My guess there are too many Ale drinkers rating this.

Twelve ounce bottle, can't find a date. Poured into pint glass. Yellow and lots of carb bubbles with tiny head. Smell is bread, apple and honey. Feel and taste are smooth, refreshing biscuit with apple. Good beer. Cheers!

A light, but clear, golden appearance with subtle carbonation. A one finger head, which dissipates quickly.
The smell has a lot of malt and sweet apple.
This very much tastes like a beery apple cider. The most unique flavor is of apple, with a distinct malt flavor in the background. The feel is quite light, which fits the style well.
All in all, I could see this being a very enjoyable summer beer. Despite being a lager, this has clear notes of both malt and apple. A pilsner with attitude, something which is surely lacking.

This is one of my favorite US-produced pilsners. Great all-malt body, crisp hop bite, but very drinkable on a hot day in July. Well balanced, and well done.

Had on tap at the Bryant Lake Bowl
L: Pours brilliant gold under a thin white foam cap. S: Resiny piney hops and light grains. Some citrus.
T: Light sweet grains with bread and faint biscuit.
F: Clean, crisp finish with medium carbonation, medium light body.
O: A summer lawnmower beer of good quality.

A good, if unremarkable, lager. Good for the deck on a warm afternoon. Easy to drink, very pale. It could use a little more carbonation.

This is a rather nice middle of the road Pilsner. I generally prefer a little more hoppiness, but this is really solid and balanced. A great summer tipple.

Appearance: Pours from the can with a clear golden hue with rather modest head for the style; some splashy lacing lingers
Smell: Fresh baked bread with a grainy character; a spoonful of sugar and a touch of lemon also appear
Taste: Bready, up front, with a biscuity sweetness and a grainy character developing; grassy, with a hint of lemon, after the swallow; a bit of lager twang in the finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with crisp carbonation
Overall: An enjoyable pilsener, perhaps a tad too sweet; found this in the back of the fridge so the hops may have diminished somewhat over the six months or so since it was brewed
Thanks, DaftPatrick, for the opportunity
