16 ounce can, 2912 stamped near the bottom of the can. If it's a Julian Date then I'm guessing this was canned Oct 18, 2022. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a chalice, the beer pours a hazy yellow/orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like pineapple, orange, grapefruit, bready malt and some light floral hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some pine noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a decent enough brew, worth a try if you get the chance!

The first rock concert I attended was the Motörhead concert in Örnsköldsvik, northern Sweden on July 12 1985. This beer celebrates the realease of Iron Fist 40 years ago.

Look: golden hazy with an thick white head

Aroma: citrus, mango, grapefruit

Flavor: It is fruity. I think I can taste tangerine, orange, mango, grapefruit, followed by a mild grapefruity bitterness.

Body/Overall: light to medium. It's juicy, pretty good, but a little bit more bitterness wouldn't hurt.

Pours a orangish yellow with a nice cap of white head. The nose is subtle but I can detect hints of citrus, primarily orange. The flavor is less forward than I would have hoped. There are some light notes of citrus on the front end as well as some toasted malt. There is a mild, piny bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is lighter than I would have expected.

I'm glad I tried this beer once. It's an alright drink. There are just better examples out there.

16oz can into a pint glass. No freshness dating, but a very recent release to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Motorhead's Iron Fist album and tour. I saw them several times on that tour, and still have the album. But on to the beer....

Looks, standard for the style. Dull pear juice colored body. Small white head shrinks to a ring and faint covering, but some great lacing.

Mixed aroma of floral and citrus hops.

On tasting, not as full as I hoped, but good hop notes as detected by the nose. Citrus has the edge, producing a bitter note late on.

Mouth barely reaches medium, finish a drying grapefruit.

Overall, decent interpretation of the style. Could be fuller and thicker, like the mighty Motorhead sound. "Devils grip, the iron fist"!
