This beer pours a clear gold with an average head. The has a nice sharp twang of pineapple, mango, grapefruit peel, burnt orange peel, pine, caramel, and rosemary. The flavor is rather restrained, with sweet bready malts, grapefruit, orange peel, mango, and moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is fairly full, with bright carbonation. Overall this is a tasty but unremarkable IPA, rather safe in it's flavors and intensity.

Pours a hazy, copper color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus hops, floral hops, hint of piney hops, sweet malt, slight earthiness, and slight tea. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable bitterness. Tastes of citrus hops, floral hops, piney hops, sweet malt, slight tea, hint of alcohol, and a hint of yeast. Overall, good appearance, blend, and feel, with an average aroma and body.

This American style India Pale Ale uses 7 different hops and has an IBU of 70.
Look: A hazy copper colored body with a thin white head. Poured into a 16 ounce beer glass.
Smell: A hoppy, sweet, citrus aroma with notes of, pine, floral, and some caramel.
Taste: lots of fruity hops, light malty sweetness, lightly bitter up front, finishes mildly bitter and dry.
Feel: Medium body with average carbonation.
Overall: Not a bad drinkable beer if you like this style. Not my preference, but a decent beer nonetheless.

Graciouly provided by relatives during a recent visit with us. Was told that this was made by a fairly new brewery out in Stillwater, and that initial efforts had been pretty promising. This came in a 16 oince can.

The beer pours a fairly dark orange amber color, with lots of frothy white head/foam, and decent lacing. The nose is OK, but not hugely impressive. There's some nice dry citrus, along with some celery root, light onion and considerable sweet malt. There's some tropical fruit that is nice, but the level of sweetness is a bit worrisome. Alas, the aroma profile was a presage of what was to come on the palate. There's a huge presence of sweet tropical fruit, with a sweet malty presence. There's some celery flavor, light onion and dry citrus as well, but it's not nearly sufficient to counter and balance the level of sweetness in this beer. Mouthfeel is medium bodied at most, and there's some light bitterness on the finish, but the sweetness wears out palate, and so drinkability isn't all that great.

Not hugely impressed with this IPA.

I poured this from a bottle into a clear teardrop glass. It pours a beautiful dark golden, much darker than I thought it would be. I'm not a huge hops guy, but I like this one a lot. Perfectly carbonated, a bit on the low side.
