Perfectly opaque with small, durable deep brown like burnt butter.
Taste is dark malts up front followed by perique tobacco with burnt fruits such as plums and flatlake cherries. Lightly carbonated - the robust malt flavors coupled with hop oils make it seem fairly robust.
Pretty good but not the best.

Dark brown with a tannish head. Smells of coffee and bakers chocolate Was a little thin but not a problem. Coffee and bakers chocolate taste but there was this lingering bitterness that seemed to intensify in the aftertaste. Would be easier to drink this with food to get rid of it. I really wanted to like this beer but the delayed bitterness makes it hard to.

12 oz. can - $2.79 - best by today, Feb. 11, 2023. Just in the nick of time.
Look - very dark, black, small tan head - minimal lacing thru this session
Smell - roasted malts, bready, hints of citrus and spice
Taste - roasted malts, sweet fruit, spice, chocolate
Feel - thin body, moderate carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness
Overall - Very good stout with good flavor. My only knock is the body is a bit thin but then again this beauty is coming in at only 5% ABV. A great starter brew for the night. This brew has a good look, smell and taste so I say pick one up and enjoy while listening to Godsmack - Rocky Mountain Way.

Pours clear and very dark brown; dense light brown head forms beautifully, settles with a nice cap and substantial initial lacing.
Nose is a chalky and roasty char, almost burnt, like over roasted coffee, dark fruit and chocolate.
Taste burnt toast, unsweet cocoa powder; with a huge hit of bitter roast on the finish, like the nose minor dark fruit, dark cherry, as it warms.
Light body; very drinkable, chalky dry with a very noticeable roast driven bitterness, the kind you get from burnt toast.
Very drinkable and enjoyable beer for me; a nice stout heavy in the burnt bitterness department. If you like bitter you will enjoy this beer.

This tastes wonderful. The flavors of the English malts really shine through here where as I've had English oatmeal stouts that just...seem bland in comparison, im sure I'll be in the minority but this might actually be my favorite from here now.
Why is this trash when poured into a glass? Not changing my rating but this is 2 times in a row. Where as having this 10 other times out of the can was great

Appearance: dark brown in color with a 1/2" head that breaks to some surface foam.
Smell: roasted malt and hint of chocolate.
Taste: follows the nose as roasted malt, chocolate, and mild sweetness lingers on the tongue. Mild earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium-heavy bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start smoother at the finish.
Overall: a decent oatmeal stout that has a bit more of chocolate focus than some others.

Pours deep and dark with a big fluffy khaki head,
The aroma is rich roasted dark malts.
This is a damn good oatmeal stout, it’s big and rich. The oats really give it more body than many other low abv stouts. It’s very roasty, but not overly so. There’s some chocolate sweetness before finishing with a fairly pronounced earthy hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is slick and refreshing.
Overall, it’s a solid beer. I like low abv stouts. Could drink this all day.

Great example of an English or Irish stout. The aroma, at first, is overwhelmingly of coffee, but none of that is excessively evidenced in the drink's flavor. Not bad.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a black color with a one finger head of just off white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of a roasted malt smell mixed with some other aromas of oat and a little bit of chocolate. Along with these aromas comes some notes of char and a bit of vanilla.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice roast malt taste that has a rather strong oatmeal flavor. Upfront the roastiness is a little bit more bitter with some other light dark chocolate tastes and a bit of char. As the taste advances some molasses sweetness and a bit of vanilla crème begin to develop and smooth out the bitter a bit. Toward the end some caramel and some milky tastes arrive and leave one with a nice roasty and lightly sweetened oatmeal taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and creamy with a carbonation level that is average. The thick body is fantastic for the rich dark and oat flavors of the brew and make for a great mouth coating feel.
Overall – A nice and approachable and very flavorful oatmeal stout. This one is flavorful, sweet, but not too sweet, and bitter yet smooth. Quite nice.
