Pours a slightly opaque straw gold. Thin head that sticks around. Crackers pils malts on the taste and aroma, along with a good amount of bitterness and subtle spicy hops. Clean, refreshing, but also flavorful, you would he hard pressed to find a better American pale lager/pils.

Clear golden color with a one-finger white head.
Fresh, outdoors, grassy aroma. Sweet.
Ditto on the taste. Maybe a little bit of apple.
Light-bodied, crisp, very drinkable.

12 oz can dated BB 11/14/18. Poured into Budweiser shaker pint :-D

Appearance is right on cue. Crystal clear straw-gold with just enough "gold" to give it some deep pop. The head is creamy and 1/2 finger, and recedes to a fingernail and stays there. Swirls of the glass leave brief sparse semi colons all around the glass.

The aroma brings the typical sweet malt profile of creamed corn, flaked corn, and barley, but adds a beautiful element of "dark peach" to the equation.

Man! I forgot what it was like to drink easy beers. There's not much to ponder, you just want to slam it down. It's delicious, in a simple way. To sip it slowly would be a shame. There's some apple pie right off the bat, followed by some flaked corn, slight celery, then a really nice toasted bread finish. Slight corn sweetness and plain cereal on the finish.

Feel is crisp and effervescent (haven't used that word in awhile), with a discomforting starchy cling that hangs on at the finish. Probably the beer's biggest flaw.

Overall, as an ADJUNCT LAGER, this beer excels. It's a fantastically flavorful, clean, delightful treat. Would I drink it every night? No, I don't typically drink lagers. But it stands up there with some of New Glarus' great lager offerings that implement those nice fruity flavors and toasted bread notes. Almost zero bitterness. Not watery. Easy to drink. I'd send some in a trade but people look down at lagers (don't judge a can by its style). Pretty damn decent for what it is.

On-tap @ The 1up LoDo in Denver, CO.

Straw yellow with lively carbonation that keeps its white head in tact. Not much to speak of in the aroma but some faint grainy malt and floral hops. Clean, mild flavor that's inoffensive but lacks much character. Its dry finish with a medium-light body makes for an easy sipper.

I tend to rate things within style. I also am really digging lagers and this is one of the best in the state (to be fair there aren't a ton). This is extremely well balanced with grainy, cracker, slightly sweet malt and what tastes like some noble hops. This taste like a really well made Pilsner, although not quite as sharp on the hops. It's crisp, dry but not watery which is an accomplishment for it's 4.8% ABV. I think because it's "just a lager" and it's widely available, this beer will never get a lot of love on here.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. Best by 10/13/17, so we're safe there.

Appearance: light golden hue with no haze, a light effervescence and a thin layer of frothy white foam. A little extra fizz would be nice here.

Smell: lightly sweet and malty; not bad or anything but without much in the way of distinguishing character.

Taste: sweet, right up front, with a bit of a malty character and a bit of a fruity character that I can't exactly place. It's alright, but it doesn't blow me away.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: like I said, this is not a bad beer, but it just doesn't have enough going on to really appeal to me.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass

A- A clear light golden straw with a small white head

S- Pale malts, slightly sweet, some citrus.

T- Sweet malts, hints of biscuity malts, faint citrus.

M- Smooth, light body.

O- A nice, easy drinking lager. A little sweeter than I was hoping for, but still a nice beer.

I bought a can of this at a Denver Airport kiosk. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving and not much lace. The scent was bread cracker like. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Just a solid lager. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall I rated this for the beer style and it is definitely a solid lager.

12 oz. Can

Pours a nice yellowish color, pretty nice carbonation, with a nice small thick/creamy off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty. The taste is malty, yeasty. Medium body, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a tasty brew.

Golden clpoudy yellow with light head, subtle scent, good flavor and a nice downhill drop through the throat, very nice. I like this one, very good and I look forward to having again.

Look: Pale yellow with bubbly white head, effervescent and leaves a lasting ring of lacing
Smell: You get a little bit of the malt bill and not a whole lot else
Taste: Sweet, slightly yeasty, very mild hop profile with a slight bitterness
Feel: Medium body, bubbly carbonation
Overall: Would take over a mass market beer any day. Good backup beer or just a simple, no thinking beer.

Great malt
Just sweet enough
It's like a Motörhead clone. A clone of a band famous for doing the same song a variety of ways for 30+ years. This is the band cloning and copying that. Just because it's small variations on the same few ingredients doesn't mean this isn't operating in a genre as capable of profundity as any other.

S: Clean, toasted and white bread, a little hint of floral hops.

T: Toasted and white bread, a light bitterness with some floral hops at the end.

F: Crips, light and clean, very easy drinking.

O: A good easy drinking summer lager.

Pours a golden straw yellow, good amount of carbonation. Smells of grain and corn. Excellent tasting, grainy with just the right amount of bitter kick to offset the malt. One thing I noticed about this beer is the mouthfeel, not comparing it to a macro but the thing that sets this beer apart from a macro version lager is its mouthfeel. Its richer and fuller in a good way. You definitely know your drinking something with a little more thought put into it when it hits your tongue.

Poured from a can. Pours a light golden yellow with a white head. Smell leans towards apple juice. Taste is juicy and somewhat sweet, with a hint of bitterness. Finish is crisp and dry. Body is more full than most lagers. Overall a solid and flavorful lager. Easy drinking, but not dull.

Huge, huge frothy head, with a rocky, towering crown. Slightly dark honey color. Perfumey aroma, a touch musty. Light, sweet malt smells. Taste features a nice variety of fruit, followed by a smooth, grainy malt aftertaste. Touch of mineral water. Hops are quite minimal, adding a flash of fruit and just a hint of bitterness.

Light, subdued flavors. Kind of thin, but I guess that's the style.

This is what a "regular" beer should taste like. It's simple and relatively light, but unlike typical American fuzzy yellow water, it's got body and heft. My favorite lager.

Look pours golden yellow with small head
Smell light sweetness and a little hoppy
Taste grainy sweetness with a slightly dry finish that makes you want that next drink.
Feel still light but a little full for a pale laager.
Overall good beer definitely worth trying if you get the chance.

Pours a clear, gold color. 1/2 inch head of a white color. Good retention and good lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, sweet malt, yeast, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of an American Pale Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a slight dryness. Tastes of strong pale malt, sweet malt, hint of hop, sugary/metallic, and yeast. Overall, good appearance, decent aroma, too dry of feel, and little too much sugary/metallic in body.

Clear yellow colored beer with a medium sized white head.

Smells of toasted grain and faintly of caramel. Mildly sweet smelling. Faintly grassy aroma.

Starts out mildly sweet with the taste of scorched sugar. Herbal and spicy noble hop flavor. Caramel and toffee flavors. Toasted grain and very light bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light.

Overall a light refreshing lager. It is a little watery.

Very clean, crisp fresh lager.Has all the right elements for flavor going on. Perfect for summer, like your "BBQ" beer. Probably what a mass produced beer such as a lager, used to taste like 90 years ago. One of my personal favorites at the moment.
