19.2oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of fluffy foam. It left some thin lacing. It smelled of caramel, bread crust and some citrus. Sweet caramel taste with a mild citrusy bite.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong aromas of yeast and vinous notes above a pale malt body. (3.75)

Flavor: Flavor follows with more vinous, bubblegum, and berry flavors followed by a bread malts. Finishes with a lightly fruity yeast. (3.75)

Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. yeasty, fruity finish. (3.75)

Compared to Vienna Born House Lager 5/2023: Pours darker, milder head. More fruity yeast. Less smooth pale malts.

Overall: A decent American lager here. A bit old and so a little bit of fruity yeast notes, but not really spoiled. I actually really enjoyed the flavors of the fruity yeast here.

Poured from a 12oz can that's slightly expired unfortunately by 8 days (6/14/22)

On the pour an enormous 4+ finger head forms making this pour almost like a slow pour pils, topping up every so often as the head very slowly recedes back below the top of the glass. As the head becomes older it maintains its peak above the top of the glass once I finally managed to get all 12OZs into the glass. It wants to lace but isn't quite there. Lots of fine lazy carbonation rises through the body which is a light golden color with a slight haze that you can almost read through.

Aroma is like a cross between a blonde ale and a traditional helles with a slight citrusy floral hit from light hopping, clearly some aroma and flavor hopping as opposed to just bittering hops. Behind that is a pretty traditional lager yeast which is quite clean which is good for the style although very faint esters are present, they are faint. Behind that to round it out is a sweet crackery traditional light malt aroma.

Flavor is similar to the smell but the hops lose their citrus notes and fade into the background to add a light amount of grassy floral notes as well as a mild but present bitterness before being overtaken by a traditional crackery slughtly sweet, crisp, and clean lager flavor. Simple clean slightly sweet and high quality.

Feel is refreshing while maintaining a good body and mouthfeel. Head makes it almost creamy while co2 bite reminds you this is a refreshing drink, and it has quite a bit of presence on the palate, bit it is very smooth. This is quite enjoyable. Very balanced feel while maintaining a light but big enough vibe.

Overall this is one of the more impressive "lagers" made by more mainstream craft breweries. A lot of these are trying to be better bud or coors, but this feels more like a take on a German Style almost with some nice American malts and hops.

Nicely made American style lager...excellent clarity...sweetish aroma of baked breads...flavor brings a nice bready maltiness with just a touch of spicy hops.

Not really an AAL I don't think as I don't think they use any adjuncts. But for a basic easy drinking lager this is really enjoyable...kind of a helles/pilsner hybrid. Would be a nice BBQ beer. Easy drinking with enough character and flavor to keep things interesting.

From variety 12 pack. Can has best buy date of 11/23/21, poured on 12/22/21.
LOOK: Pours a bright and very clear pale straw color with a slightly less than pure white head that maintains fair retention
and some nice lace.
AROMA: Some faint bread, dough malts and grass.
TASTE: Clean refreshing and simple lager with just enough mild malt flavor to make it a worthy lager.
A good warm weather beer.

12oz can with a best by date of DEC 21 21, opened 11-26-21.
1" white head that falls quickly then holds on at 1/4". Light and slippery lacing.
Pale straw gold with very good clarity and visible streams of carbonation.
Sweet grainy perfume. Some hop spice. Flavor and aroma are similar, simple and mild.
Light body with medium carbonation. Quick finish with a bit of sweetness.
Good.

24oz can poured into Duvel tulip. A printed date or something smudged up the bottom and side of the can. Probably some kind of misprint... well I'd sure as heck want to assume.

Appearance - Pours one finger white sudsy head with decent lacing, stick, and retention. Light to medium clear gold body. 4.5

Smell - Very corny malt. 4.5

Taste - Strong corny maltly lager with some slight sharpness that quickly fades away. No aftertaste. Maybe something round and malty but clean. 4.25

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied. Clean. A moment of sharpness in a sea of roundness. 4.25

Overall - The can says 'bright, fresh, easy' and I have to mostly agree. Other than that momentary sharpness that peeks through, it lives up to the claims. 4.25
