A- Sunday's here its mostly sports fans no matter what the season because they have the all the sports TV packages. Usually a big happy hour/after work crowd during the week

Q- The beer seems to always be fresh from draft, but the bottle selection they keep on ice and I don't know how i feel about that. I have gotten glasses here before with a nasty funky smell to them that really made the beer I was having not so enjoyable

S- Service isn't terrible here but don't expect a wealth of knowledge from the bartenders about beer

S- Pretty decent selection on tap other than BMC etc, they usually have a rotating Dogfish Head, Capt. Lawrence, Stone, Sam Seasonal, and Longpoint. There is also usually a German beer on tap along with Hoeegarden & Leffe. Bottle selection has pretty much one of everything from
Franziskaner Hefeweizen, Lambic's, Ayinger Celebrator, Sam Smith, Chimay, Ommegang, to Ballentine & PBR cans

F- The food I would call above average bar food. The menu does change a lot to keep the menu different and there is a wide variety of offerings

V- They usually always have a decent beer on special, I was here last Saturday and they had Dogfish Pumpkin for $2 draft. Most of the other drafts & bottles are reasonable along with the food

Overall for the area its about all there is in Union County with a decent beer selection

This is a good place for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is pub-like and the food is reasonably good. The menu is not particularly exotic but the food is well-prepared and tasty. The service is somewhat hit-or-miss. The selection of craft beers is decent but not nearly as good as The Office in Morristown.

As other reviewers have mentioned the beers on draught seem to be pretty fresh while the bottle selection doesn't seem so fresh. All craft brews during happy hour and monday night football are $4. So $4 for a Founder's Centennial IPA is not a bad deal at all. However, the atmosphere was pretty dead when I was there a month ago to watch MNF. There was also a Yankees Playoff game on TV but the place was just empty by the time the games were ending. My friend and I were literally 2 of 5 customers left in the bar.

We were at the bar in the basement. 8 taps and only 3 were generic macro swill. Harpoon IPA seemed fresh. Also had nachos that were good. Service was good. Atmosphere is comfortable. Good selection on the jukebox. Friends got a wheat beer and they automatically put lemon in it
so watch out if you don't want it tainted. Glassware seemed appropriate and there's a full bar for other non beer people.

We didn't get to the bottle selection and weren't offered a menu. There's not much else in the area with taps so this is it if you want decent beer.
