DDH Ipa from 6.0% with hops: MOSAIC - EKUANOT - CITRA
Bouquet of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, passion fruit and ripe citrus) on the nose.
Golden color, hazy.
Very light body, extremely easy to drink.
Very "juicy", all tropical fruit almost "an ace juice" but with less carrot and more citrus.
Bitterish finish (not at all astringent) and dry.
On the palate the citrus fruit prevails over the hints of tropical fruit.
Super summer, designed for consumption in the hot period. I prefer a slightly more marked bitter, but for the style it's well proportioned.

De 32gp. En copa Teku. Estudiando. Mucha hierba mas que el zumito que su nombre quiere dar a entender, pero bien rica y fresca. Y en 50cl, sin robarnos los 6cl que suelen quitarnos ahora con el formato de 44cl. Y barata (3.35€)

Beer is fine Well done, a good product. But I hate myself. There is so much acidity that is unnecessary. For people who love IPA beers, it's a good beer

A 500ml can, canned on 7th March 2018 and with a best before date of 7th September 2018. Poured into a MBCC 2018 stemmed taster glass.

Appearance: A hazy dark orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving sparse to no lacing.

Aroma: Tropical mango, peach, citrusy grapefruit and lemon zest.

Taste: Juicy, light mango, citrus grapefruit, pine, dank and with a hint of vanilla on the finish.

Mouthfeel: Full to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: A nice and juicy IPA with good aromas and flavours.

Poured on tap. Cloudy honey gold colour. Sweet fruity and candy like aromas; honeysuckle, juicy nectarine and candied lemon peel. Tastes more level than it smells. Good crisp carbonation, medium bodied and sweet malts upfront. Soft stone fruits predominantly; white peach, apricot notes, sweet clementine and a robust kick of earthy and pithy citrus hops mid body to finish. Hints of pine near finish. Lingering peach notes. Clean finish with dry palate.

Pours a hazy, light orange coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of dank hops and citrus fruit: grapefruit, orange, tangerine, with a hint of tropical fruit: mango, pineapple. Taste follows the nose, with a hoppy, dank and juicy citrus fruit, grapefruit, orange tangerine, dominated taste and a hint of tropical fruits: mango, pineapple. Quite a bit of lingering bitterness for the style, but medium generally. Body is a bit thin, which is my main complaint here.

L: Very hazy orange color, one finger white head, messy lacing, loads of carbonation.

S: Citrus, hops, hint of tropical fruits.

T: Citrusy, malty, kind of juicy, bitter on the back end.

F: Light to medium bodied. Quite refreshing.

O: It's a good beer but I expected more from it and was a bit disappointed.

Pours a hazy orange with soft, dense foam.

Smell is very juicy and fruity, huge notes of mango and pineapple.

Taste stays very juicy and packed with tropical fruit. Finishes with a hint of licorice and vanilla. Slightly more bitter than the American NEIPAs.

Mouthfeel is nice and soft, almost pillowy. Good level of carbonation.

Overall, a great Norwegian take on the NE IPA. A bit more bitter and harsh than the top examples, but damn good. Would gladly drink this again.

Really hazy peach color with some off-white head. Aroma is really dank and juicy with overripe peach and apricot plus the green hop dankness. Taste follows with the juicy hops but a bit more tame, low bitterness, really easy to drink. Medium body, medium to low carbonation. At 6% ABV this goes down like water. Tasty but also refreshing.

Milky dirty blonde with a cap of loose foam. 4
Waxy lemon peel, kind bud, honeydew rind, and fresh cut scallions. 4.25
Thread of butter cookie, then massive grapefruit, cut grass, mint Lifesaver, green mango, evergreen and kronik hops. Hints of donut peaches at the end. 4.5
Numbing peppermint and lime juice linger that goes on and on.
Almost medium, round, smooth, oily. 4

Mosaic, Equinox, Citra (Over 3 kg/ hl)

Apr.18 canning - 6 weeks to the day; edge of freshness for NEIPA! But not a mark on it, gotta say - blasts you with 11 different kinds of hoppiness without ever getting harsh. Pulls off the impressive trick of lingering endlessly with low IBUs. Maybe a little shy in the body - wouldn't say pillowy - but silky enough.

I'd be willing to put this up against Finback, let's say, if not the top tier of New England IPA producers. Best Euro example of the style outside of Cloudwater, that's for sure. Actually kinda worth the €7 (gasp!) a can.

The real deal. 4.25
