33cl bottle. Pours a pitch black with a tall, fine, espresso head with good retention (for an imperial stout, that is). Smells of espresso, dark chocolate, roasted grains, dark cherries. The taste is very well balanced, with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, dark cherries, smoked and roasted malts. Very smooth and silky mouthfeel with a medium to full body, possibly due to the oats. Excellent.

Solid black colour. Heavy black treacle and a bit of raisin, but faint overall. A bit syrupy and alcoholic but mostly a heavy roasted grain body and black treacle mostly. You get the hints of cocoa and espresso at the finish.

Really dark, almost black pour with mocha head. Aroma is really roasty and dark fruit forward. Taste starts slightly sweet and fruity with dark berries and dark chocolate notes and gets roasty and bitter in the finish. Body is heavy and smooth with just the right amount of carbonation. You get some alcohol but not really offensive. Overall it's pretty well made imperial stout but nothing really special.

Pours pitch black with a small head.
Nose shows roasted malt, bready malt, cocoa and liquorice.
Flavours include roasted malt and chocolate with a balancing sweetness. Quite a dry roasty finish though.

330 ml bottle. Served in a DFH snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like roasted malt, bittersweet and milk chocolate, dark fruit and molasses. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some coffee and oats noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and slick with low/moderate carbonation. The 10.4% ABV is well hidden. I think it's a good overall stout, I wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future. $5.25 a bottle.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a nice large foamy had dark brown head with excellent retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolates notes with light roasted malt profile is quite enjoyable. Taste is a dominated by black chocolate with quite a bit of residual sugar notes and some roasted malt with a light dusty finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Enjoyable and well brewed but maybe a tad too sweet for my taste buds.
