Pours a brilliant amber with a one inch khaki head that dissipates with moderate speed.

Aroma is subtle, with caramel malt and fruity esters accompanying toasted bread.

Big off flavors. Vinegar forms the backbone initially, followed by darkly toasted bread and nearly burnt caramel. After the sourness subsides, the flavor is slightly brown sugar sweet into the fairly dry finish.

Body is moderate, with moderate carbonation and light alcohol warmth.

Think this may be old or contaminated. Either way, the base beer lacks melanoidin complexity expected in the style. Review neglects the contamination.
