A: amber in color, with a white head.
S: sweet at first, with hints of lemon and apricot.
T: Sweet with apricot, raisin, and plum notes. There's also an herbal note that comes across as bitter.
M: medium body, carbonation is a touch low for the style.
O: not bad, but the bitterness in the finish is throwing me. I'd also love to have a bit bubblier texture.

Picked up at a Publix in NC.
Looks like apple juice with bright complexion and very little white head. The smell is of light banana and not much else. The flavor is definitely where this beer picks up. Hugely sweet but balanced. Delicious belgian yeast, candies fruits, sugar cookies. I would prefer to drink just one of these as I assume will become cloying. Mouthfeel is heavy and sticky with a gentle high alcohol burn. Overall I would share with a friend but not enthusiastically

Pours a light orange hazy color with minimal head. Scent is sweet, malt and something noticeably unpleasant I cent put my finger on. Taste follows, adding significant alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and an aftertaste that follows the taste. Again it may be me, but this is at least the third of this style I've tried and have rated each significantly below the average.

Excellent turn at a high-alco, malt-forward Belgian. Top fruit covers a mature burn in the middle, and sweetness rolls up in the finish. Great balance of the elements.

Aviator Brewing’s Devil’s Tramping Ground is a sweet, almost too sweet, Belgian Tripel. Thankfully, the Noble hops ( Saaz, Hallertau) take some of edge off that candi sugar. I detect fruit and a hint of spice, but the finish is decidedly sweet. That’s not a bad thing, necessarily, especially for a Tripel. And at 9.2%, a few of these might well make your head the Devil’s Tramping Ground, Which, if you’re in front of your own fireplace in the bleak MidWinter, isn’t necessarily a bad thing, either. But a summer beer, it’s not.

Poured from 12 oz can into tulip glass.
A 1" white head drops quickly. Minimal lacing. Color is yellow-orange. Cloudy with abundant carbonation. Aroma of strong brett yeast, ripe fruit, floral notes, bread dough. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy with a dry finish. Flavor as expected: funky yeast, various fruit, bread background. Slight alcohol warming. Overall: extremely good.

Poured into a chalice, the appearance was a soft burnt orange color with a small off white foamy head. This slid off at a nice pace. Some messy lace.
The aroma had some sweet banana, Belgian yeasty/breadiness, crushed spice but not very noticeable on what spice it was, semi-earthy with a keen grassy leafy character underneath.
The flavor tucked away a mostly sweet banana to apple-sweet character flowing into that earthy spice then Belgian yeasty sweet breadiness. Slight banana to grassy to apple to Belgian yeasty aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it due to some alcoholic notes. Not necessarily harsh in their tones along my tongue but noticeable. Carbonation and ABV felt good. Nice crisp apple to Belgian yeasty/bready smoothness in the finish.
Overall, pretty nice as an Americanized version of the style. Possibly again.

Only had about 4 oz ... a 12 oz can we split 3 ways. Aromas were rich and complex, very bready, and taste had plenty of thick ripe fruit. Warming alcohol, just about the right mouthfeel for the style. Decent, interesting Tripel that I will be picking up more of soon.
