This IPA lets the hops shine. Five different hops are used to create a well-balanced IPA which focuses on the hipster’s hops, Citra and Mosaic.

L - Medium yellow. Hazy. Fairly short white head with good persistence.

S - Fruity hops dominates - tropical fruit and sweet citrus. A little pine.

T - Not much malt character - seems a little thin. Good dose of citrusy hops; grapefruit and orange.

F - Light. Dry finish.

O - Provides a nice hit of sweet hops. Thin, but refreshing.

Nice slightly hazy copper color with a light tan head. Citrus notes (tangerine is most prominent) and some berries dominate the nose, and there’s a bit of caramalt as well.

The tangerine leads the taste and the berries are a nice complement, with the caramalt providing some sweetness and balance.

The mouthfeel is actually a little too “bright” for me. This is listed as an IPA, and I rated it as such, but it’s actually more of an APA, and my rating would’ve been a bit higher if it was listed (and named) an APA.

Still a nice, flavorful beer that can be consumed in multiples without wrecking you.

Surprisingly, a very hazy body, almost completely opaque. Nice orange color, with excellent head production, and fantastic retention and lacing.

Nose is a bit challenging, as there's a combination of some caramel malt and herbal hops that comes across almost stale. Very floral, with an emphasis on citrus hop expression over tropical. Some bright pine and leaves on the finish.

For a sub-6% ABV IPA, this really delivers a lot of flavor. Somewhat grainy malt base, presenting notes of caramel, wheat, and paler grains; not out of character for an APA in that regard. Hoppy notes include stone fruit, grapefruit, lemon peel, and candied orange.

Lovely balanced mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness.

I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured a slightly hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent subtle bitter citrus and pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with good bitter citrus and pine mix presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and floral hops. Tastes of citrus and fruity flavors, slight tropical fruit, decent grain backbone. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium-golden color with a clingy white head. SRM of 8. (3.75)

Aroma: Light on the aromas. There is some melon, berry, and grape. This is followed by a predominantly lemon creamsicle aroma. Some grapefruit and lychee linger. (3.50)

Flavor: Flavor follows the nose. Lemon and orange creamsicle. Then some grapefruit. Not too fruity, but a strong amount of cream. A touch of mixed berry and lychee flavor underneath. Minimal bitterness. Finishes with a creamy sweetness. (3.50)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Decent carbonation. Creamy and smooth, yet not to the level of a milkshake IPA. Leaves a smooth creamy feeling on the palate. (3.75)

Overall: An easy-drinking, smooth, and relatively simple IPA. Citra and Mosaic are the main hops here. Nice lemon citrus with the mosaic berry profile present. However, the cream sweetness and smoothness of this beer are what it does well. (Final Rating: 3.48)

Had this on my most recent trip to Milwaukee over the Memorial Day weekend 2019 for the Marquette reunion. Drank at the source. Pours a darker yellow, good 2/3" white head, nice clarity, a little bit like soap suds down the glass. Right away I noticed this is the best smelling beer ever made by this place. While there are more aromatic Citra and Mosaic beers out there, this one hit those hops in the average range (quality/quantity) which is still pretty nice when you're using the best proprietary hops for an ipa pretty much.

The taste was good, light pale toasted malt, 2 row, plenty of hop notes, 50 ibu level bitterness. Average range juiciness from the hops, enjoyable at every turn, I think I had 3 pints of it on Saturday night. Mouth feel was relatively dry, usually they lean too much towards trying to over malt the thing and approach balance, but on this one they really caught up with the times and delivered a pretty good west coast ipa. The setting outside on the river really brought it all together. Can't believe Jeff took LSD for the reunion, love that guy.

This is a solid IPA and priced right at the store too! I buy this when I grow tired if the $18 4 packs. Picked it up at West Madison Woodmans for $6. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a nice white head that lingers. Taste is citrus forward, evident by Mosaic and Citra hops, not overpowering. A little alcohol burn on the back end which is a little surprising as this is only 5.5% ABV. Highly recomend.

16 oz can poured into Yakima Valley hops glass.

Hazy honey orange color with a tall fluffy head of 2 fingers. Lots of puffy lace left behind. Nice thick ring when swirled.

Bright fruity aromas of grapefruit, orange, and blueberry. Slight cantaloupe. Fresh woody grass and pine.

Huge flavors of grapefruit and onion, with slight tangerine and freeze dried blueberries; slight caramel. Finish of bready biscuit and pine.

Feel is slightly watery but retains a creaminess that's pleasant; moderate carbonation, moderate warming alcohol; resins on the finish.

Overall, a decent Wisconsin area IPA, could use more tropical notes for my personal taste.

Very drinkable IPA. One of my favorites, somewhat similar to good citie’s motto.

Big orange small white head. Poured from the can.
Nice juicy aroma. Smell of orange and maybe a little grapefruit and pineapple
Taste is similar with a malty backbone.
Mouthfeel is somewhat resinous. Coats the pallet. Finishes kinda sweet. Would prefer smoother or dryer.
Pretty decent beer.
