We took a batch of Louie's Demise and added a bunch of Rishi's Organic Blueberry Rooibos and Hibiscus Tea blends to our secondary fermentation vessel. After two weeks of cold infusion we filtered out the tea, carbonated it.

As a big fan of Louie’s demise i hd to try this. Smells like a blueberry muffin more than anything, and is a rosey copper color. The taste is definitely heavy blueberry, theres earthy notes of hibiscus and lavender. The amber malt presence is very subtle and just enough of it there to taste like a beer. Its pretty sweet but the dry feel helps balance it out. Definitely one of the better fruited beers i’ve had.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange red with a small fluffy white head. Smells of sweet blueberry with some sweet grain. Tastes of blueberries and sweet grain, however the flavor seems overly artificial. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, an above average beer.

Pours slightly hazed amber. A thin wispy head leaves some trailing lace.
The smell is of blueberry (in a soda way) with some light toast in the back.
The taste of blueberry soda mixes with caramelized malt. A toasty finish balances it. Aftertaste of toasted blueberry muffin lingers.
It is slightly fizzy, but smooth with a nice malty texture.
I like how the blueberry (though a bit "artificial") mixes with a solid amber ale (to keep it from being one-dimensional).
