Created by our brewer Kurt Mayes, O-Gii is a collaboration with Milwaukee’s Rishi Tea, infusing Asian character to this monster wheat beer.

An imperial tea-infused witbier, lets give it a try... bright gold pour with a huge head of white foam. Creamy surface texture, bright clarity. No haze or yeast to it, though I got the first part of the can.
Floral incense aroma, veers into lemon pledge territory a little bit. Sort of odd, definitely tea-like though.
More floral tea notes and spices in the taste, coriander is big, with some possible additional spices. Some traces of honey malt traces and smooth wheaty notes in the middle. Pretty light bodied, and fairly crisp. Would revisit again in the Spring.

O-Gii pours a copper color, with a larger, long lasting head. Aroma is boozy, with some sweet spice and candy. Flavor is sweeter, spice and candy, alcohol helps to balance it out. Good body and feel.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain, with wheat notes. Tastes of wheat with just a hint of tea notes, and slight fruit notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Had on draft. Best way I can describe this is like drinking some shitty malt liquor. Okay when I was 18. Not so much now.

Those who don't like a sweet, aromatic wit need not apply. This beer, when properly poured and consumed, is a exhilaratingly different beer. Don't drink more than 2 unless you have someone to drive...

Pours light hazy, darker gold. Thick, medium, white head that lasts a while.
Smells tropical, tea, caramel, citrus, honey.
Tastes citrus and sweet tea, honey, caramel malt and some light herbal bitterness. Finish is semi sweet with herbal linger. Medium body and smooth medium carbonation.
Sweeter than expected
