I thoroughly enjoyed my stop at the chatham tap while on a business trip to indy. there are twelve taps and little veal (Stella). the place feels British. The menu is simple yet creative. I enjoyed fried portabellos with a sinus clearing chipotle sauce, and a pressed pair and brie sandwich. Pizza and burgers are on offer as well. I'be typed too much without mentioning the seven rotating or seasonal taps. Its nice to find such flexibility in this city, at a place that is genuinely relaxing at the end of the day.

Used to love the place, especially for European footie in the mornings, but service went downhill big time. Otherwise great food and a good selection of both American and European brews both on tap and bottles/cans. They gotta get rid of some of their waiters though.

I go to Chatham Tap a couple of times a month, usually on Saturday or Sunday mornings to watch the Premier League(Go Reds!) Anyways, futbol aside...they usually have 3-5 interesting rotating crafts on draft to go with some always available British staples and a couple of always on Sun Kings...The food is really wings in town in fact(IMO) and the pizza is outstanding. Lovely alleyway patio out back that's great to relax on at night with a pint. Highly recommend!

Went here early on New Years Eve. Really liked the vibe....hardwood floors, 18 beers on tap, plus a good selection of bottles. Superior service.

I had a couple pints of escape from Alcatraz. This is a bock from a local brewery, Fountain Square. Enjoyed the beer. $5.50 per pint....fair price for Indy.

Ordered the veggie pizza and it was so-so at best. I prefer thin crust. This was a heavy thick crust, though not greasy. At $15, I expected better.

Would definately return, but would order different food.

Went here Saturday for some dinner and to watch the IU game with my parents after a show at the Murat.

A quaint little British pub. I love the atmosphere. Small and cozy, but a good crowd and a few tv's to watch the games.

Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the beers offered. There were a ton of craft beers on tap heavily featuring locals. Many of them were of the seasonal variety and they seem to rotate beers a lot. I had a Flat 12 Glazed Ham Porter.

Some very unique food offerings and everything was good. We split an appetizer of quite possibly the best onion rings I've ever had and ordered and shared a roast beef sandwich, reuben and grilled tenderloin all of which were served with homemade potato chips and were great.

I will definitely be visiting this place again. It reminds me a lot of my favorite college hangout. A great place for some good local beer as well as food.

We were looking for quick place to grab lunch and a local pint before heading back home, and since we went to MacNiven's the night before (which was great), we ended up here. We actually walked into Rathskeller first, but no local beers on tap.

Cool little place, going for the English pub vibe, and is apparently one of the few soccer bars in town. Tap list had 2 or 3 Sun Kings, 1 Three Floyds, 1 Flat 12, and other locals in bottles. Food menu had a nice variety of pub grub and the St George Philly I got was pretty awesome.

Glad we stopped in here.

Chatham is a nice and comfortable pub. Despite the fact that they had soccer on all tv's except one, and I am not a soccer fan, I still enjoyed it. The clean comfortable atmosphere made up for it. The food was very good. I had a turkey club sandwitch with slaw that was delicious. The beer selection was good. Quite a few different micro's in bottles. Most importantly they had Sun King on tap and in the can which is a big plus for me. I plan on going back to try some other dinner options. If you are looking for a quick stop for a bite and a pint, this is your place.

The Chatham Tap. I must say, I love it when a football pub turns into a basketball pub, as it did when Butler played Michigan State in the National Semifinal, which is when I went.

First impressions is that the pub is deceptively small and cozy. It probably only seats fifty or so people inside, but does have additional seating outside, weather pending. Decent decor, a nice looking bar, but the big story is the bar has TERRIBLE acoustics. The place gets so loud it is insane. No music, TVs turned down during commercials, you couldn't hear the person next to you.

Service was servicable. Attentive, and the dude had some crazy hair sticking up like a foot and a half. No fish story.

The beer selection is nice there, they cater to our local awesome brewery, Sun King, with at least two beers on tap. I had the Dominator Doppelbock. Also on tap was Hobgoblin, Bass, Boddington's, and some others. They also have an expected selection of UK bottled beers, you know, Sammy Smith, Old Speckled, Fuller's, etc. along with their respectable domestic selection.

We had pizza, thank God, to soak up that alcohol (didn't realize that Bock was 8.2%...) and it was passable. I thought it was a little garlicky, but the crust was crisp outside and doughy inside.

The prices are right, at $5 for a pint of Sun King, among others, so the value is right in the sweet spot. And if you are a soccer fan (I am not) then you need to go here and rock out with your scarf out. If you didn't get that joke then this joint might not be for you.

While in town for the Final Four, we tried to get away from the masses for dinner before the games and decided on Chatham tap based on a recommendation from a friend. The atmosphere has the old-world charm of a prototypical English sports pub, with Premiere League decorations (including an up-to-date board showing the current standings) and a number of TVs tuned to European sports channels. The food included a handful of standard pub-type items (e.g., fish and chips) but also a variety of non-traditional fare (Reuben pizza?).

Regarding the beer, Chatham Tap has all of the standard imports you'd expect to see in an English-style pub, such as Bass, Guinness, and Smithwick's, as well as some less common ones (but not necessarily rare), such as Wychwood Hobgoblin, Leffe Blond, and a few Samuel Smiths. What was unexpected, though, was the nice assortment of domestic craft beers. In particular, there was a nice selection of local and regional beers from 3 Floyds, Upland, Barley Island, Goose Island, and even some seasonal draughts from Sun King. Overall, the visit was quite enjoyable, and I can only imagine how much fun this place would be for a big Premiere League match or during the World Cup.
