Phenomenal stuff. Tons of nice mineral funk with a bit of citrus and stone fruit preserves to brighten things up. Tom, thanks so much man!!

Thanks to Brad for sharing this on 3/13/16.

L: Beautiful. Hazy orange, light amber color with an eggshell white head that fades to a ring with some bubbles in the middle.

S: The nose here is very Girardin, which is very much like fresh Cantillon. Very clean funk that's almost soapy but lemon and hay.

T: Much better here. Lovely funk and lemon that blends well with the malt. Maybe some slight amaretto.

F: Perfect. Just like 3F OG. Full and creamy and effervescent.

O: Fantastic gueuze and the best Lindemans I've had. Had this been blended with 3F lambic, it probably would've been a 5 for me, but this is great too. For what it costs now though, it's not worth it to me.

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.

Best by 9/3/2043.

Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour with grain, funk, fruit, earth, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, funk, acidic, wood, and slight fruit flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a nice combination of sour, funk, and earth qualities all around.

Serving type: bottle.

Bottle opened April '15.
Popped open cap, cork expanded out on its own and shot out hitting a 30-40 ft ceiling
Funky noise, much more complex over the course of the night when left off to the side
Look was standard, lots of carbonation.
Taste was exceptional and I certainly liked this blend.
Even for one and two year, this beer was complex.
Can't wait to see how this beer will develop over the course of a few more years.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Deep golden orange. Huge white head with big bubbles. Settles quickly. Thin collar.

Smell - Woody. Some lighly fruity and sweet malt. Some white pepper. Lightly perfumey.

Taste - Better. Bright citrus sourness up front. Lemon and some orange flavors. Woodiness starts in the middle and builds into the finish.

Mouthfeel - Very highly carbonated. Detracts from the experience. Medium body.

Overall - Has some unimpressive aspects, but it's generally a very nice gueuze.

Bottle: Poured a hazy beige color ale with a nice thick foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of tart green apple with some light barnyard and funky notes also perceptible. Taste is also a well-balanced mix of sour and tart green apple notes with some barnyard and hay notes with almost no acidity in the finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. I love the complexity and the limited amount of acidity in this beer.

Shared at a 10K review beer tasting; drank from a Hill Farmstead stemmed snifter.
Thanks to Phyl21ca for the bottle!

Pours hazy straw/blonde in color with a thin bublly head and not much lacing. A big, powerful nose, sour cherries, green apple, acidic and some bread/buscuit doughiness. One the palate, there is some residual malt sweetness and again sour cherries, lactic acid and some nice Brett funkiness. Just a great beer!
