This is everything I imagine Saison to be.

Fresh turned earth, light black pepper, grassy and mildly tart on the nose.

Stone fruits and more earth in the mouth that finishes like a drink of fresh lemonade.

This is what I'd want to drink working in the fields.

750ml bottle poured into a tulip. The brew appears a hazy golden yellow color with a white cap. This smells lemony lactic with hints of grapefruit blending to more of an herbal and zesty hop component. The taste is fruity with a hint of grapefruit then lemon zest and almost a peachy/apricot juiciness with some pithy bitterness toward the finish. This is light in body with modest carbonation. I could kill bottle after bottle of this. Where the hell do I sign up for the McKenzie saison club because this shit is as banging as I remember vautour being.

Golden saison with lots of bubbles. Smaller fluffy white head that lasted a while. Peach and orange flavors blend well with a nice balance in the dry hopping which imparted delicate hop flavors. Great body and perfectly carbed. Mild tartness overall what a fantastic representation and amazing beer!

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael.

Hazy sunshine yellow body with a soft white cap. Aromas of hops, wheat, grass, funk, floral scents. Lovely citra character. Juicy, funky, hoppy goodness. Light body, medium bitterness. Nicely done.

Golden with loose bubbles, minimal head. Tone is nice but the lower carbonation is a bit disappointing. Aroma is great earthy and perfumed tropics. Taste bursts quite a bit more with peach and orange flavors. Floral. Body is medium, a bit slick due to lower combination. Really beautiful and incredible if the carb was dialed in.

750 mL bottle, batch 2, bottled October 2015. Basically BA Vautour dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra. Same as B1 except B1 was 2015 Amarillo and B2 was 2014 Amarillo (or something like that).

Bottle is a slow gusher. Pours a clouded, milky bright orange golden color with a large frothy white head. Head settles to a thick ring with clumpy sheets of lace. Nose is bright and hoppy, peach, melon and mango, with grassy and lemon notes. Medium thick body which starts with sweet tropical fruit and yeast, before finishing with a dry white wine and oak balance and light hoppy bitterness. The blend of the traditional saison earthy and grassy Vautour with fruity and bitter hops, with vanilla and wine from the barrel aging is exceptional. B1 was a little more peach and fruit forward fresh, while B2 bottles have tended to be better carbed and a little more bitter with a resiny/pulpy character B1 didn't have. Either way, I have loved this variation on Vautour.
