12oz can into a pint glass. date on bottom of can is 1/8/18, but its unclear whether that's canned on or best by. i'm guessing the former. This one was a bit of a gusher, and i lost 20% of it all over the counter top.

dull dk amber body with a few fine particles floating in it. head initially very large, but shrinks back down to a solid ring and faint covering. some okay lacing.

faint aroma that I cant quite describe. not good or bad.

some malt taste. faint bitterness initially. tingly on the tongue.

mouth is above medium, but somehow comes off a little thinner than that. finish is faintly bittersweet.

overall, a bit below average pale ale.

I had this on cask.

Poured Amber with a white head that left a nice trail of lace.

Nice malty sweetness in the nose backed by floral and citrus notes, some pine.

It taste malty sweet with a touch of toffee, followed by citrus and pine hops. Very tasty.

Poured from a tallboy can into a pint glass.

L: Pours a dark golden amber color. Two fingers of white head.. generous lacing.

S: Baking bread, earth and pine... resinous... almost floral.

T/F: Moderate malt body up front. Not as big in body as a full-on IPA and the ABV reflects that. They till get some good biscuity flavor though and the hop presence is quite nice. Piney and floral... not much in the way of citrus but a pleasant herbal tone. Dry and bitter at the finish... nice carbonation... overall well balanced.

O: A nice representation of a pale ale... and it's got everything I look for in the style. Not one that will knock your socks off, but a good easy drinker. One I would quaff with a burger or pizza.

Had this on 2015-08-19 in Columbia, PA from a 16oz can.

A - Clear orange-amber with a 1.5-finger white head and little lace.

S - Orange candy, lightly toasted bread, light floral. Very sweet smelling.

T - Toasted white bread with orange marmalade; then a nice blast of pine resin flavor and bitterness. Finishes with some earthy spice and lingering bitterness that is on the harsh side. Nowhere as sweet as indicated by the aroma, which is good.

M - Medium body and medium-high carbonation. Prickly, a bit resinous but finishes effervescent and dry.

O - This is a decent pale ale. Not as balanced as a Sierra Nevada Pale but enjoyable.

Awesome right out of the can. Great basic drinking beer, not too hoppy, very refreshing.
