Draft at Devil's Den in Philadelphia, PA.

Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden straw color with visible carbonation and a two finger frothy white head that slowly fades into a lasting ring.  Minimal streaks of lace left behind.

Slightly earthy aroma with bready yeast, peppery spice and light fruit.  Barrel presence is faint with subtle oak but not much bourbon in the nose.  Doesn't smell like it spent much time in the barrel.  Slightly earthy with some grass and straw followed by estery fruit notes of apple and pear.

On the fuller end of medium bodied with a subtle funky yeast presence counted by sweet light fruit and faint zesty spice.  Again, the barrel presence is really faint with some dry toasted oak and minimal bourbon. Spicy and earthy with pepper,  grass, straw, hay, apple cider, pear and booze. Pretty good but I was expecting more barrel character.  I guess if it was much stronger it might kill off some of the other flavors but it's barely noticeable as is.
