This is one of my favorite places to grab a bite after work, or a place to hang out at lunch. The food is all pretty good, and they make a killer Cali Chicken Club.

On to the beer, they usually have a really nice lineup with 3 Floyds Dreadnaught, Dogfish Indian Brown, Stone, Sierra Nevada, Boulevard, etc. The last few times I've gone there, they have been using the proper glasses for the correct brew. My only real complaint is that on occasion, they will try to bring me a beer in a frosted glass, which is a big no-no. Serve the bmc in a frosted glass, not my craft brew.

I have been to this place time and time again. Figured it was time to review it. My biggest complaint is that there is a lot of tap handles but they are doubled up. The craft selection is always new when I go there with this past time being the best. Bell's Two Hearted, Bell's Hopslam, Flying Dog Double Dog, Flying Dog Imperial Porter, Two Brothers Cain and Ebel, along with others. Service is prompt and always with a smile. I enjoyed I could get a glass that wasn't chilled like some other bars. Well worth going to to see what they have on tap. Would recommend to anyone coming from out of town.

For being a chain, Bar Louis seems to do everything right. The selection is fantastic, and they seem to rotate rare beers quite often. On any given occasion you can find anything from Three Floyd's Dreadnaught, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout or even some limited Two Brothers beers. The food is amazing. The Blue Moon battered Fish is some of the best fish I have ever gotten at a chain restaurant. The food is resonably priced, the beer is a tad expensive. But the atmosphere is very low key. I love it.

well having been to other Bar Louie's around the country i wasnt to optmistic about this one. But after going to the one in Mishawaka i was very pleased with what i found. They actually have 40 taps not 24 like the beerfly suggest and when i was there they had some pretty good ones. they had offerings from Bell's, Three Floyds, Great Lakes, Abita, Brooklyn, Goose Island, Lindemans Framboise Lambic(on draft), Belhaven, and Spaten Optimator. And yes way to many light lagers, but a good selection none the less.

the food was pretty good and at an even better price.

the staff was ok at best(although every lady working was a knockout) at beer knowledge. they kept trying to push cheap specials. they didnt know a lot about the beers they were pushing, but they did always offer to find someone who did know rather than feed me some BS, so thats good.

all in all a good place to grab a burger, watch a game, and drink some decent beers.
