Deep golden, medium bodied & nicely bitter, Hopyard Pale is exceptional in the West Coast style. Generous hopping in the boil & further dry-hopping produce a fruity/floral aroma & refreshingly bitter finish. A true thirst-quencher!

341ml bottle poured into pint glass
A clear copper with no bubbles at all, fast falling thumbs width of head left a single ring of lace
S some citric and earthy hops with a little toffee
T not far from the smell but with more caramels and enough malt to give it some balance, not the hop bomb I was expecting but pretty good
M medium bodied, a little creamy, rather bitter and the flavor lingers
D not bad for a session, I'd drink it again so that says something
had a few of these while in Halifax not the best from these guys but pretty good nonetheless

Hazy orange, moderate head dissipates quickly, light citrus nose, medium high carbonation. Lighter body. A "paler" version of the Vic Park.

Pours a light golden, translucent body with lots of frothy head at the top. The scent brings up huge cascade hops, with lots of citrus and a fairly decent alcohol background. The taste brings up huge hoppy notes at the front of the palate, evening out towards the end with quite a nice smooth finish. Overall I kind of think of this as more of an IPA, though classifications aside, this is an awesome beer.

Pours a huge head that lingers. Smells like citrus, and has a lingering citrus palate. I'd drink it again...

On tap at The Snooty Fox.
Pours a golden amber color with a huge off white head that persists for a while. The aroma is filled with butterscotch and popcorn. I find it hard to get passed the butter, but the bartender assures me that this is a west coast style IPA. The flavor follows the aroma Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. I couldn't get past the butter but other people tell me this is great.
