Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a stiff golden color with a glistening finger's worth of white dissipating head. Boy, that didn't last at all. Not much lace, just seemed to slide into the beer very quickly.
The aroma had some earthy to herbal hops up front and then melding into a smooth cracker/somewhat toffee maltiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet and pulling the hops to the malts cleanly. Fairly nice malty aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, as an English IPA, it works. I really don't see much wrong with this but am hoping more people will learn the difference between an English IPA and an American one as they're pretty different in their make ups.

An average IPA, nothing out of the ordinary.

Draught. I don't know what THE BROS are smoking, but this beer is awful.

From a cask at the Drovers Inn in the Scottish Highlands.
Golden body with excellent clarity and lacing with a terrific, creamy head.
Mild aroma dominated by sweet malts.
Hops slightly dominate the malts in the mildly bitter flavor.
Excellent soft mouthfeel.

Brilliant translucent gold brew.

A touch soapy on the aroma. Piney and grainy.

Fairly old school IPA, moderate in bitterness. A bit each of spicy yeast and grainy barley.

From a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.

L: Dark gold. Clear. A few isolated bubbles rise to the surface. A two-finger, white head reduces quickly to a loose cap.

S: Fresh topsoil. Nettles. Smoke. Abundant hop oil.

T: Woodsy. Spicy. Oily hops very much to the fore. Hints of coffee. Tobacco aftertaste.

F: Medium body. Slightly oily. Very dry finish.

O: The massive hop hit from Goldings, Fuggles and Willamette hops is unique and, for me, somewhat overpowering. Tastes much bigger and more potent than its 4.4% ABV. The malt base is absolutely buried behind the drying effect of the hops.

Clear amber color with white head. Aroma has earthy hops and a good amount of underlying, bready malts. Taste starts well balanced between the malts and hops, bready and earthy. Finishes bitter and earthy. Light body with a nice minerality specific to British beers. Really easy drinking and refreshing but it's doesn't pack very much flavor.
