Pours out slightly cloudy brown but light still gets through easily. 1 finger suds and no lacing to speak of.
Smell is mostly caramel malt and some hop. No alcohol in the nose.
Taste is mild but refreshing. You get the malts and some of the sugars. No alcohol detected here either.
Mouthfeel is just a tad sticky but finishes clean. Would be a good lawnmower beer.
Overall I wouldn't buy this because of the blandness but would drink it if I was doing yardwork and someone asked me if I wanted one.

Had on tap at Krug Park in Omaha, NE. Review from notes.
Served in standard US pint glass.

Poured from a cask, so head is a persistent, fantastic light brown cap of about 1cm. Swirled, this leaves substantial lacing. Beer's body is a cloudy brown color, very much opaque, nothing detectable inside this maelstrom.

Scent is of cream in light chocolate milk, some caramel sweetness, but overall very mild. If inhaled deeply, can pull in a hint of bourbon, but I'm trying and psychology may be affecting this more than it actually being present.

Taste mirrors scent with hints of cream and caramel sweetness. Very slight nuttiness. Bourbon flavor is there, but again, only if I "try" to taste it. A bit disappointing in its fairly average blandness, really.

Medium bodied. Very smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Very little detectable carbonation, but still quite pleasant to sip. Goes down very easily, could easily have more than one.

This was an interesting beer to try, and I'm not sure how the bourbon barrels would come out in a non-casked beer with more carbonation to push scents through, but I don't have any desire to ever have more than a glass of this. Nothing that will ultimately change your perceptions or to get excited about.
