I honestly hate Empyrean Brew Co., but this brew is descent. Good value, and a fair amount of complexity. There is a citrus/woody taste and feel to it.

I believe Empyrean definitely could have brewed with more hops in order to make it a more exiting beer.

That's all I get from this brewery. A cool lookin' box with a mediocre beer.

A. Aggressive poor ½ inch foamy yellow head. Very little carbonation after the poor. Color is spot on with apple juice.
S. Hops, fruit, citrus fruit.
T. Taste is a little weak for an IPA. Alcohol taste is slightly astringent. Taste the way leaves smell as they decay in autumn. Bitter. I enjoy the autumn taste “decaying leaves”. Taste like coriander?
M. Thin, dry, watery, and gritty. Gives me cotton mouth drinking it.
O. Pretty watery but good. Would recommend drinking on an autumn day while eating fish tacos. Little to no buzz for 6%ABV

Poured with 1/2 inch of frothy cream coloured head with a hazy depth of grapefruit below... sediment floats about (meh its just protein :D ) This smells like nothing??? Taste is light, but and under hopped ... this would make a good session ale. Watch Man IPA has a good feel about it .... perfect actually! Overall... A good beer to take with you to the lake.

Beer pours pale golden in color with a small head. Carbonation is okay. Beer is slightly hazy.

Aroma is of pine and spice. No malt aroma. No aroma from the yeast. The pine is very clean and green smelling.

Taste is bitter, hop bite lingers in the finish. No malt in the flavor and no yeast notes either. Finish is somewhat dry.

Mouthfeel is a little on the thin side.

No flaws in this beer, pine hops are okay. Nothing all that exciting. Although this beer does not have a lot going on it would make a great session beer. The hops are not too bitter and the beer is fairly light and crisp.
