Poured from the growler into a tasting snifter.
Appearance: The beer pours a cloudy golden color with a layer of off white head. There is just a hint of amber as well. The head fades to a ring around the pour.
Smell: Light and refreshing, I'm getting banana and some clove. Quite yeasty as well.
Taste: Light and not overly sweet. The yeasty note combines with banana and clove. Just a touch of bitterness joins the grain in the finish.
Mouthfeel: The body is medium with tingly carbonation and a finish that is a bit dry.
Overall: This is a nice hefe. I would say it's super interesting, but I enjoyed it.

Growler shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad. The beer is hazy straw yellow with a small white head. The aroma offers the usual suspects: banana, clove, malt, wheat. Nice flavor. Refreshing and easy drinking. Light bodied with lingering banana in the aftertaste. A decent example of the style.

Poured into a pint glass, this looks like an average hefe, with a little deeper coloring than some. The aroma is also quite a bit stronger than others I've tried, and this carries over into the taste. The flavor is pretty strong on spice and citrus, with a slight taste of banana.
This is one of my favorite beers at The River Company, and knocking back a couple of these is definitely an enjoyable experience, and one of my favorite hefes.
