Orangey brown with a brief soda-like head that leaves a little ring of cling.
Just as advertized. Brown sugar, spice, and warm apples. Really nice. Nothing overpowering. Spice isn't obnoxious. Taste is great along with the nose. the apples come through more on the palate. The texture is a bit thin and the carb a bit too soda-like...the thinness and the apple flavors make it feel like a cider. A nice, interesting fall beer with all flavors in balance.

Poured from Growler filled at River Company....
A: Deep dark ruby colored... Clear very little carbonation can be seen. Good 2 fingers worth of soapy tan colored head. Head settles to a nice layer with very good lacing. Good looking beer.
S: Strong smell of cinnamon, sweet malt, clove and maybe a little nutmeg... I really like the smell of this beer.. Reminds me of Christmas...
T: All the smells are in the taste here... First thing I'm getting is sweet malt, mid palette is all the spices.. Cinnamon, clove and little nutmeg... The finish is clean. The after taste is full of all the spice notes.
M: Thinner than I was expecting.... Carbonation is lively, but settles as it warms up
O: ABV feels pretty low... maybe around 5.5.. I could be wrong. Very interesting brew... Worth checking out... If you visit The River Company in the fall please give this beer a try...
