This pours a dark malty amber color, like browned caramel. The aroma has a green hop hint, with some malty roundness to it. It tastes malty with some caramel character along with a noticeable but light bitterness and some swwwweeetness bordering on cloying. Released for St. Patrick’s Day!

On-tap at the brewpub.

Pours a clear dark amber color with a 1.5-finger off-white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of sweet caramel malts with light hints of leafy hops and lighter hints of lightly toasted malts.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Caramel malt flavors that are on the sweet side but maintain a nice dryness are joined midway through the sip by leafy and slightly floral hop flavors. A sweeter toasty flavor enters right before a mildly bitter ending.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with moderate carbonation.

Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass quickly and could easily have a few more.

Overall this was one of the crispest beers for the style that I remember having. This has never been the most flavorful beer but it's a nice session beer although if a point were knocked off the ABV without any loss in flavor it could be a great session beer. Worth a shot.
