Poured from the bottle into a tasting snifter.
Appearance: The beer pours a clear yellow color that almost looks like a beer that's been watered down. Not much head to speak of.
Smell: Very yeasty and not particularly sour. Lots of yeast. There was a note that reminds me a bit of a pils. Not a huge fan of the smell.
Taste: Very yeasty with more sourness than I would have guessed from the smell. I'm getting some lemon juice and a tingle in the jowls. Still an off note that I don't love, but everything else manages to keep things towards the right track.
Mouthfeel: The body is on the light side with almost no carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: I liked the taste a lot more than the smell. I don't think I'd need more in the future.

Fluffy white head. Clear, straw yellow. Crisp, lemony tart beer. Finishes with a hit of wheat. Delicious.

This is a really basic Berliner, but was done very well. There isn't a lot of flavor, but the mouthfeel and appearance were exactly what you would expect from a good Berliner.

Appearance: Pours clear with an apple juice color; not much of a head build and what arrives passes quickly; a good quantity of bubbles continues to flow upward though there is very limited lacing
Smell: Smells like a compost bin, at first, but fortunately that fades and is replaced; lactic and somewhat funky, with a lemony tone
Taste: Lactic lemon, at the outset, with growing acidity; dry and puckery through the finish
Mouthfeel: Light body with low to moderate carbonation; nice pucker factor
Overall: Not the best Berliner I have ever had but certainly enjoyable

Tejas Berliner.
Pours a straw colored body with a delightful transparent haze, clocking at 70% opaque. Rapidly diminishing head leaving a ring of creamy carbonation on top.
Virtually no smell whatsoever. Imagination brings dry oats or cheerios to the table. That's it.
Thankfully the taste delivers a little more, with tangy yeast and notes of cantaloupe rind. Vinegar and a touch of green apple skin. Breath brings up warm breadiness. Touch of lime and seltzer on the finish.
Feel is very carbonated, slight semi-dry parch.
Overall this was a fair Berliner, nothing to wag at, but still a good drinker. I won't have it again unless I'm down in Texas, but if I were, I'm not sure if I'd pick it up again.
