On tap at the brewery, and opened a bottle at home.
A: Pours a cloudy/hazed orange/pink color. A minimal white head forms and recedes to nothing in a second, kind of like champagne. No lace either.
S: Acidic and tart in the nose. Some light fruit aromas. Cherries and tart apple skins. Though right off the bat, I know this is going to be an enamel ripping sour.
T: Yep, rip roaring, enamel ripping sourness. That is about it. Maybe some cherry tartness, but with the huge sour acidic bite, it is hard t say.
M/D: A light to medium body. Effervescent carbonation, and very dry. The acidic character sucks in the cheeks, and salivates the glands. Oh boy, the acidic quality here a bit much, and makes it a bit hard to sip on.
I Love Ananke, and think that is one of the best sours made in Texas. This is just Ananke with cherries, but for some reason it is just over the top. Which I don't recall being the case with Ananke. The shredding sourness here is to much for me. Oh well, can't like em all.

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Hazy orange body. No real head.
Smell - Some cherry. Orange and lemon citrus. A little grain.
Taste - Bright orange. Sour up front. Builds up. Wine barrel builds too. A bit of butter. Very light cherry.
Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation. Moderate sourness. Medium light body.
Overall - Got better as I drank it. I don't get much cherry at all, though.
