The label bears an image of one of the infamous stone heads from the Bayon temple after which this beer is named.

Pours a two finger head of white foam over a light hay colored body. I tried several of these beers and they all had small particulate matter suspended throughout the beer-- however, my wife tried just one and it was clear. In both the cases the head dropped quickly, but left nice lace. The aroma was not overly pleasing with hints of boiled corn and vegetables. The taste had a light sweetness up front with a hint of boiled vegetables, but was otherwise neutral. watery. Mouthfeel was thin with moderate carbonation and a smooth finish.

A light refreshing beer, marginally better than drinking water after sweating buckets out in the Cambodian sun all day. This beer is probably best characterized as light version of Angkor. I prefer the full strength version over this, but not all of my drinking companions agreed.

Very pale clear yellow. Some coarse bubbled foam, but no head retention. Only retains a ring of film. No lacing.

Nose is very weak, with almost no smell whatsoever. Maybe a little rice sweetness, but not much.

Taste is rather bland, but quite fresh, however. Unfortunately, the clean palate is only due to a complete lack of flavour. Mouthfeel is also pretty limp...

This one might be ok straight from the freezer, when no taste is expected, and it's be pretty good if you needed to drink a lot of beer without being sick - at least the lack of flavour gives it that advantage...

Poured from a can into a glass.

Pale yellow-orange, clear. It smells like it's going to be better than most Cambodian lagers (fruity malty crisp), but it's definitely not. Sour and off and not pleasant. This is a Bad Lager.

They sure do like to name their beer after temples in Cambodia!
Pours out of the can looking clear yellow, with not much of a head. Nose is water. Smelled again... still water. Taste has some cereal grains, mild yeasts, and a bit of lingering hop spiciness. Still quite mild, but the taste is a very small step above the other regional lagers such as Beerlao and Angkor. Mouthfeel is thin, drinkability is "meh."
