This beer was inspired by some past experiences at NOLA Brewing with a previous IIPA that ended up getting lawyers involved and names had to be changed. We're seeing more and more lawyers getting involved in the industry so we decided to create this beauty to acknowledge that we see these things going down and yes, we did copyright the name.

pours a super hazy yellow gold tinged with amber with a white froth head that has low retention and leaves occasional lacing behind as it settles to a thin halo
aroma is tangy sweet and grassy hop tinged with malty caramel and low earthiness
taste: tangy, sweet, juicy and grass hopped with light malty backbone and lowkey resin in the wings; light green apple. pineapple. mango, white peach, light apricot, white grape must, lowkey melon, but then yellow mango double down sweet tingly earthy tinged tanginess
mouthfeel is medium-light bodied with high carbonation running billowy and fluffy with occasional carbo/booze heat prickles with slight tingle and semi-dry finish that leaves a semisweet melon and bright mango tingled with grass aftertaste
overall:
one of the better IPAs I've had this year. I've backed away from reviewing lately, but glad to bring it back with this one and will preaching its gospel for a while...hop profile is stacked in an interesting way that feels fresh and new and refreshing - an instant classic, honestly. I've seen this one around and slightly embarrassed it's taken me this long to imbibe

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a couple fingers of foamy head. Nice retention and lacing.
Aroma is fruity and citrusy.
It tastes juicy but a little tart at the same time - nice.
Nice mouthfeel, a little resinous.
Overall not bad.

12 oz can from 504 Craft Beer in NOLA. Best by 3/18/20. Rogue Speigelau.
Very unexpected hazy juicy color with some floaties about the size of red pepper flakes, and a creamy head of 2 fingers receding to a thick ring leaving lace all around as it recedes.
Aroma is pure JUICE!!! YES!! Pineapple, mango, and grapefruit juices combine, with slight cat grass and dank, pineapple fruit, and sweet ruby red grapefruit.
Flavor begins with grapefruit rind and slight red grapefruit, with some lemon, followed by a seltzer emptiness, yet oddly still creamy, 2-row malt, rindy pineapple, stringy tangerine, and lemon rind.
Feel is really creamy and full, brings lots of acidity and juice. Good carbonation. Moderate warming alcohol. Moderate to high clinging resins.
Overall a very good beer but the emptiness in the flavor would keep me from buying it again. Still worth a shot, perhaps it's just too close to expiration.

Look: It pours a slightly dark orange with an off white head. Head retention is excellent. It is also cloudy.
Smell: It has strong grapefruit aromas. There is a bit of a peppery note with some spiciness as well. Also, there is a very low level of bread.
Taste: There are strong citrus, orange, and grapefruit flavors. There is a subtle spiciness with peppery elements. The bread is a bit more noticeable in the flavor that in the aroma.
Feel: It has a creamy texture which gives a a somewhat full body. The citrus elements last well through the finish and linger.
Overall, in spite of the fact that it is an imperial IPA, the alcohol sneaks up on you because of the smoothness. This combined with the citrus character makes this a very good beer.

On-draught @ the brewery.
Floral, citrusy, classic. I'd bet on at least one C-hop. Two row pale malt counters hop bitterness.
Smooth, wet, light to medium-bodied, well-carbonated, somewhat refreshing.
Drinkable and enjoyable but not a standout in its (oversaturated) style.
C+ / ABOVE AVERAGE
